I have seen these figures at Gamestop recently, so you may want to stop there if you can. I think they look good for looking like video game figures. The pixelation isn't over the top but is noticeable. Flash almost looks like he could pass as a regular figure. If they made these as regular figures without the pixelation, I would get these. I don't want to blend these in with my other figures but others might be alright with it. My local Gamestop put one figure out each week and all of them are still on the pegs.I have only 1 Walmart within 40 minutes of me, and this morning they had 4 of the new Action Comics Superman, 2 or 3 Fox's, and a boatload of Max Mercury. They also had the new Hal Jordan, but I already have him. I was tempted by the Superman, but there's just something I don't care about his look. Honestly, I think it's the S...it looks like a cheap shiny sticker (I know it's not a sticker), and he has the same head sculpt that we've seen before. I kitbashed a Hush Superman a while back, new head sculpt and a wired cape, and he's been my main Superman for a long time now...looks like he will remain that way for a bit.
Anyone pick up the JL Task Force set? How's the pixelation in real life? From the reviews I've seen, Darkseid actually looks pretty cool with the detailing they gave him, and...Zod help me...I think I actually kinda really like that Superman head with the long hair. I know, I know...but I can't help it 🤣 I'm thinking of getting him just so I can transplant the head to a different body for a mid-90's long-haired Superman. I wouldn't want a whole shelf full of pixelated-painted figures, but a set of 4 might be kind of fun. Especially since I always wanted to play that game as a kid and never got to. Are these any good?
I stopped at a Target on my way to work today. I wasn't planning on stopping there but I had some extra time before work. In the Electronics/Collector's section, they had 2 regular Geo-Force figures, 2 platinum Geo-Force figures, a platinum collector's edition Green Lantern & a platinum collector's edition Huntress. I was surprised to see Green Lantern & Huntress, so I picked those up but I already have both Geo-Force figures. Huntress shocked me because the face plate was not attached to her head, it's loose in the packaging and looks like a robot face.
Man I wish that would happen to me. I've seen the Platinum Huntress at Game Stop - but I like the regular costume better. But the disconnected face plate is not uncommon on the Huntress figures I've seen in package. I had a similar issue on several of the one's I've found.
I sure wish I would stumble on a Platinum GL on the pegs, though.
I hope next year is another big year for Superman because he has a little bit of a defecit in terms of his villians, allies and alternate looks

It took me over an hour to curate this list and I kept running into one stumbling block after another because Superman is one of my biggest deficits when it comes to collecting, reading and absorbing other media. I'm trying to do better and I was lucky enough to at least remember enough to put this list together without the aid of Wikipedia for the most part. Although there is that one character I can't remember who fought superman on War World and swore vengeance afterwards in Panic in the Sky. Please add him to the list so i don't drive myself crazy any further lmao

Can that Huntress be improved by lifting her head up higher on her neck? Maybe hot glue? She looks a little odd as-is imo

Man... there's a seller with Arkiss for $60 shipped and I'm actually considering it... I have the Tomar Re version that I planned to use for the Green Man head already - which would mean the two figures would have averaged $45 each which I can almost justify...
I really wish it would be easier to get the Arkiss/Green Man figure at retail, though. It's super aggravating.
I ordered three from Amazon thinking my chances of getting a platinum would be fairly decent, but all three were standard versions. I just don’t have the time or the inclination to drive all over town for weeks trying to find one, so I just went to eBay. I paid $70 shipped. That was the best deal I could find. I put Abin Sur on the platinum body, with the other three going to the standard body. Seemed logical.
I hope McFarlane does another round. With no new tooling required outside of the heads, it’s a license to print money.
See, for me I absolutely don't want the Abin Sur or Tomar Re heads on these bodies at all. I have my DCUC versions and those work great. But Arkiss and Green Man are both characters that have been depicted as larger than average at times (perhaps not a foot taller, but..) so I feel like I can fudge them into my existing display as bigger characters so i only want the Platinum figure. It would have been so much better for me if those heads had been the standard release and the other two the platinum, I could have got what I needed easy. Sigh.

Well, I never did get the Platinum Green Lantern Corps figure. And I wasn't really wanting to pay the $90 or more that it goes for. But I found someone selling it for $59.99 on Ebay and I bought it. I already have Tomar and Abin Sur on individual bodies and even have a 3rd regular Green Lantern Corps figure to put Green Man's head on in the event I ever got the Platinum.
So, at last, I will have all available Lanterns once again.
My platinum Huntress arrived yesterday, and I am genuinely surprised at how much I like this figure in hand. Granted, she’s my favorite DC character, but I wasn’t that impressed with the standard version, so I didn’t bother going out of my way to get the platinum version. However, the color scheme and costume design on the platinum version seems to fit the Arkham City Catwoman base body so much better.
