I'm leveling off on Todd's stuff too. This weekend I saw Rebirth Cyborg, platinum Dick Batman, platinum Lightning Lad, Noel Batman (regular and platinum), and platinum Batman (vs Spawn) all in the wild. Passed on all of them.
I did, however, receive Damian page puncher finally and he is pretty darn great, looks good next to Dick Batman. So I may be to the point where I'm just heavily cherrypicking the Batman stuff. When it comes to the greater DC Universe, I don't know if I need to go beyond what I already have with DCUC.
Are there any reliable inventory checkers for Target these days? I’m trying to track down Geo-Force, and I feel like I’m back in the 2000’s again where I have to randomly run out to stores (which I simply don’t have time for).
I was so shocked today. I went in a Target, and they had both regular and Platinum Geo-Force. I picked up both. The nearest Target is 45 minutes away from me, and it's a popular one. I really thought by the time I walked in today best-case scenario they would just have regular Geo-Force. But they had both.
And they were $9 off each! I guess for Cyber Monday or Black Friday or something.
I see McFarlane is doing Cover Recreation figures. This doesn't surprise me after doing the gold plated Superman statue figure. These might be the same price as the collector's editions, but might be higher.
Found 3 Geo-Force's at my local Target in NC yesterday. One platinum and two regulars. Left one the regulars for another Geo-Force fan, so I have a feeling it'll be there every time I visit for the next few months, ha!
Green/yellow Geo-Force is hands down my favorite figure in McFarlane's line. I can ignore the silly reuse of Speeding Bullets Batman on his legs and arms because when you switch to the neutral face, he's pretty darn incredible. With the yellow on his chest was rounded, but that's really my only issue with him. While I like the modern variant, this is the Geo-Force I've wanted since I was about 6 or 7. (One of my first comics was Batman and the Outsiders annual #1 when this suit debuted, and I've loved it since.)
I've got him with DCD's Metamorpho and Black Lightning (History of the DC Universe version), and it just goes to show how much we need a classic Katana and Halo to round out the founding members of the team. Still can't believe we got this particular character from McFarlane of all companies. Mind blowing.
@rexmason I'm glad to hear that these are starting to show up. I'm going to have to check my Target again. I have a DC Direct version of the modern incarnation, but I'd probably buy both of these versions if I find them in the wild. I'm still frustrated that they haven't listed Geo-Force on their website. I rarely find anything that I want at brick and mortar retail anymore.
I hope next year is another big year for Superman because he has a little bit of a defecit in terms of his villians, allies and alternate looks

Some of those are rumored to be coming at least... Power Girl, Titano,
An Ultra Humanite figure would probably be impossible to pass up for me though.
Looks like McFarlane Store is selling direct through Walmart? https://www.walmart.com/ip/seort/10185170679
I don't see Return options anywhere - anyone else see it? This seems like a good deal. A regular McFarlane Batman can fit inside the car, right?
Man... there's a seller with Arkiss for $60 shipped and I'm actually considering it... I have the Tomar Re version that I planned to use for the Green Man head already - which would mean the two figures would have averaged $45 each which I can almost justify...
I really wish it would be easier to get the Arkiss/Green Man figure at retail, though. It's super aggravating.

Make sure you hit the collector section in the electronics. That's where these Geo-Forces were hiding. I've been going every other day or so, as this figure is a big deal for me, and I had no luck finding Lucius Fox when I hunted for him more casually...
I have only 1 Walmart within 40 minutes of me, and this morning they had 4 of the new Action Comics Superman, 2 or 3 Fox's, and a boatload of Max Mercury. They also had the new Hal Jordan, but I already have him. I was tempted by the Superman, but there's just something I don't care about his look. Honestly, I think it's the S...it looks like a cheap shiny sticker (I know it's not a sticker), and he has the same head sculpt that we've seen before. I kitbashed a Hush Superman a while back, new head sculpt and a wired cape, and he's been my main Superman for a long time now...looks like he will remain that way for a bit.
Anyone pick up the JL Task Force set? How's the pixelation in real life? From the reviews I've seen, Darkseid actually looks pretty cool with the detailing they gave him, and...Zod help me...I think I actually kinda really like that Superman head with the long hair. I know, I know...but I can't help it 🤣 I'm thinking of getting him just so I can transplant the head to a different body for a mid-90's long-haired Superman. I wouldn't want a whole shelf full of pixelated-painted figures, but a set of 4 might be kind of fun. Especially since I always wanted to play that game as a kid and never got to. Are these any good?

That's a good list, I highlighted the ones that stand out the most to me (I'm a Triangle Era guy, so the 90's would be my #1 want to represent). I'd also add:
Lex Luthor II (this could be a Platinum variant to Lex-in-business-suit)
Hunter/Prey Superman
Lois Freakin Lane lol
'Day of the Krypton Man' Superman
Superman In Exile Superman (stubble face or bearded, with oxygen belt / mask, and hand-held Eradicator)
Exile Warworld Gladiator Superman (hand-held Eradicator could come here, instead)
I know very few of these are probably possible, but hey - it's fun to dream.
I stopped at a Target on my way to work today. I wasn't planning on stopping there but I had some extra time before work. In the Electronics/Collector's section, they had 2 regular Geo-Force figures, 2 platinum Geo-Force figures, a platinum collector's edition Green Lantern & a platinum collector's edition Huntress. I was surprised to see Green Lantern & Huntress, so I picked those up but I already have both Geo-Force figures. Huntress shocked me because the face plate was not attached to her head, it's loose in the packaging and looks like a robot face.
