I think it's on the Crisis buck. I like it, gonna be a sure purchase, I'll just have to sculpt the lightning myself.
Didn't get a Huntress, but that probably would have been a tall order on my first time around with these. Hoping this leads to a decent chance in the future for another character I like.
I wonder if they'd consider doing an 80s-style Question wearing the jacket with how popular this release seems to be. I'd love O'Neil-era Question and Lady Shiva.
I just can't stop picturing Batman driving down the mean, dirty streets of Gotham on patrol when a random thug on a rooftop spots him, pulls out his piece, and takes him out with a single shot. An anticlimactic end to a storied crime fighting career, completely preventable with a canopy.
You could say the same about Robin’s Redbird, Batgirl’s Batblade, the hover-skiff thing Robin uses at the end of the movie. None of those had protection from head-shots either.
You could even say the same about the Batpod from TDKR.
Sure. All of the B&R vehicles fall under the "ridiculous/campy" category. The Batpod, I feel, was more of an emergency-use/escape vehicle not meant for long-term use, but in TDKR Batman was coming out of semi retirement and just went with what he had.

Hasbro-style easy reuse on the torso but looking pretty nice with the soft goods cape. I sold my Walmart Gold Label one because it was too orange and his skin tone was too sallow, but I'll pick this one up.
The "shading" on that comic Superman: yuck.
I collect a lot of toys, but McFarlane’s DC multiverse line has become the one I love and hate in equal parts. See a figure you like? It’ll be a gold or platinum variant and or exclusive. Enjoy paying more for it IF you can even find it or order it before it sells out. Scale? Forget scale. Size all over the place. I am buying less and less, mostly because I can’t find it.
That SHAZAM looks good. I think I'll get that. I have the older Gold Label version, but I really like these soft capes, and I like the head sculpt and skin tone on this new one.
So, they CAN put accurate sleeve cuffs on Reeve, they just do it on an ugly Page Punchers figure with ridiculous shading.
Sigh. Maybe I’m just running out of patience with this line.
Welp, received my case from EE yesterday and can now say I'm three for three with the Platinum's being included. EE ships the case in one of there oversized boxes for protection.I had to work today so couldn't respond to the comments until getting off work and back at home.
EE doesn't open their cases. I sometimes purchase a case of MLs instead of getting them single carded. If it lists a case of 8 or a case of 6 on their site, you will get an unopened case.
I have only purchased two cases from EE of McF's DC Multiverse. The first case was the DC Multiverse Batman Theatrical 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6. The chase figures were in the case. I gave the extra Batman figures to my daughter who didn't have any of the figures. I purchased the chase Catwoman for her off ToySnowman since the case had only one chase Catwoman. The second case was the DC Multiverse Batman Wave 2 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6. Once again the chase figures were in the case except Dick Grayson Batman but I got him off Walmart's site. Basically I'm two for two for cases with chase figures inside. The case DC McFarlane Collector Edition Wave 7 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6 with a GL/DKR Batman/Huntress should be here next week so we will see if the pattern continues.

Hold up. How is this actually true? Who the fuck even approves this stuff 😆
The face leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise the new Shazam figure looks really good. Makes me think of the current comic run by Mark Waid.
I don't see a hood on Shazam's costume. But he has a white logo so I take it this is a new spin on a classic design? Similiar to Superboy and Jay Garrick? And I bet its pretty safe to assume that the platinum variant will sport the yellow lightning bolt on his chest instead of white.
I went to a local Walmart today that doesn't carry McFarlane figures in the toy aisle. I went to the Electronics/Collectors section and there was a Simon Baz, Platinum Grid & Platinum Lightning Lad. All three figures had security devices wrapped around them. I only wanted Lightning Lad, so glad I found it. I was hoping to find Platinum Baz & Mr. Terrific.
My closest local Walmart has Baz. I went the other day to check the toy aisle and completely forgot to check the Collectors section. They haven't had anything in that section since they redid the whole store in July, so I don't think to check it all of the time. My guess is that someone else got the other Platinum figures.
Shazam is half gold & half yellow. They do the same thing with Dr. Fate sometimes. Why can't they be consistent?
I was watching DHunters review of both regular and Platinum Geo Force. Apparently, the figure is starting to show up in the West Coast. I wonder when it will go up for pre order on Target.com?
Also, stopped in a Game Stop today and picked up the new Cyborg figure. They also had Platinum Hugo Strange and Platinum Aquaman with Hook Hand from the Plastic Man BAF Wave. But I already have Hugo and didn't need the Aquaman.
@tenzilkem I can't comment on Dr. Fate, but for Captain Marvel/Shazam the mix of gold and yellow is accurate.
