So, I got my Huntress figure form Amazon finally - and this is one I was actually relieved not to get the platinum since I like the standard costume so much better.
Got her out of the box and she's a nice figure. Good paint job. Not in love with the idea of face plates instead of alternate heads as I feel like they will come off easier than an alt head would and will be easier to lose. But, it's better than only getting one portrait at all, so I'm satisfied. All in all it's a pretty nice figure.
My only gripe - and I know, I know I should absolutely know what I'm getting into with these, but I just happened to have the Masterverse Sy-Klone on my desk when I opened her and while she stands a good half inch shorter than him overall - which is completely as it should be - her waist is actually higher than his, and that's not great. I just wish, after all this time Todd would figure out normal human proportions so the legs weren't quite so exageratedly long. It's probably fine if you have only a shelf of McFarlane DC characters standing together - but I don't. I have them intermingled into a mixed 7" figure display and I always have to hide the McF figures in at least the second row so the over-long legs aren't conspicuous. Sigh.
It really is a nice figure though. I don't even mind the cloth cape too terribly much as the wired outline make it nice and poseable - although the stitching on the corners is a damned eyesore

I wonder what time pre-orders are going up? It's usually 12pm EST (9am PST). But I'd hate to be wrong and miss this one. As it's probably going to sell out as fast as 1978 Movie Superman did.
If the head sculpt and colors is close to how it is on that cover and inside the book, your computer processor I hope is fast.
That Breyfogle cape is almost identical to the cape on the black & white Breyfogle Batman statue. I hope it's great for the people that want it.
When I first saw the red Swamp Thing I really didn't want it since it's a mega figure, only because of the size and the space it takes up. But for some reason I want it now that it says it's from when Swamp Thing was on Rann. I know I'm not getting it unless it is on clearance.
I wonder if the extra accessories included with the Breyfogle batman includes an extra head with the longer ears that Breyfogle drew later in his career. Also it would be great if there were some alternate faceplates that can be swapped between the two heads
Hey anybody else receive a hold on their account for McF's EQL Run Fair. I haven't noticed this in the past when I submit an entry for a chance to win.
The Breyfogle is a must-buy for me. It seems like he's getting the same treatment as the McFarlane Year 2 Batman did, and I still love that set so much. Hope he's not too pricey and that I can nab one!
@rexmason I would expect that he will cost as much as a mega figure, or even the Deluxe King Spawn
batman dc #587 is up on mcfarlane toy store for $50
Got my pre-order in for two of the DC 587 Batman figure.
He'll make a perfect Morrison JLA era Batman.
Man, that paint scheme is way darker than I hoped for. Very late 90s rather than late 80s/early 90s...
I mean, that’s about what I’ve come to expect from McFarlane lately. I guess as stated it’s a pretty good Morrison/90s Bats but it’s totally inaccurate to DC #587.

It's good for JLA Batman, but I have the Spawn two-pack version for that. I was really expecting the same accuracy as Year 2 Bats. Especially since Todd has been leaning in that direction more with the Collector's Edition line and such. Just got Ragman this week, and he's incredible.
My worry is that Todd will re-release this in the right colors after I've pre-ordered this version...
This would be a sweet JLA Bat, but at $50 I'll wait for the next round. That said, it's time for a Norm Breyfogle Batmobile!
