@tenzilkem There are no platinum versions. I just checked the McFarlane website and all they offered were the single pack of the individual figures or the bundle for the entire wave. They weren't even offering the single case pack of of like 5 regular editions of the flash + a platinum, or any of the other figures from this assortment. So this is more like the COIE assortments where not a single figure gets a platinum release
I was somewhat joking, that is why I added the LOL at the end of my statement. You never know what McFarlane will do. I figured this could be like the JLA Plastic Man wave where the platinum figures show up at stores like Target so you have to hunt them down. Some people might prefer the comic book look compared to the video game look, so of course those could be the platinum versions if there are any.
He’s really gonna make all the costumed heroes except Hawkgirl. It’s beyond parody now.
No, no, this is just part of a bold new line initiative called Disassemble-a-Figure. For each full wave we buy, Todd produces a Hawkgirl figure, then rips it apart and throws it in the trash.
Where are the movie chase figures? I don’t see any.
Anne Hathaway Catwoman was sure hard to track down! Got lucky and found her once at retail.
I know it's a set that's been out a while, but I was really happy to get the Batzarro and Bizarro 2 Pack on Amazon last night for $27.99
I only wanted Batzarro to go with my Bat Collection, and $27.99 is about the cost of a single figure these days. So, I was happy to get it for that price. I mean, the set was only $39.99 to begin with, but I kept holding out hoping I'd find some sort of deal on it.
I can't believe all that Superman merch for the upcoming movie. Multiverse AND Super Powers! Plus, some 12". I hope the movie does well being the kickoff of the new DCU. But I keep feeling like it will just do decent. But hopefully I'm wrong. Hopefully it has a strong performance, and the merch sells well too.

Hey, it's not Todd's fault. I read that Ted Bundy once received a Wonder Woman Mego figure from his parents when he was a child and… well, you know the rest.
I just watched Toy Shiz's video on the JL: Task Force figures and while he did indicate that there are Platinum versions coming for every figure in the wave (including Darkseid) Fair warning, as of now its kind of hush hush and no one is allowed to showcase the platinum decos or talk about what they are in exact specifics, but Toy Shiz may have dropped a nugget or two. And I get the feeling that the figures might be getting schemes to match the spin off comic book series that was tied in with the video game. (which I think was drawn by Sal Velutto, who also drew for the Black Panther series during Christopher Priest's Marvel Knights run) In any case it will be interesting to see what this looks like when its fully fleshed out. In an odd way this wave kind of feels like an homage to the JLA multipacks that Hasbro released in the 90's that were inspired by the Rock of Ages comic book, complete with alternate deco's for our heroes that were designed to look like the hardlight constructs.
My case with the GL/Huntress/DKR battle damaged Batman shipped from EE.
I made myself a deal. When I preorder these cases and I don't receive the platinum chase figures in the case I stop collecting the comic figures. The movie figures I will still collect. The case should arrive sometime next week so I guess we'll see.
@jayjonah You may have made that deal a little prematurely. These days McFarlane asks his online vendors to list Platinum releases to be listed separately. So they'll have their own SKN and UPC codes along with descriptions

EE sells cases like a wholesaler for retailers. Unless he’s creating a special case only for EE that doesn’t have platinums, it should be the same case pack-out retail gets.
right but as soon as those cases arrived at EE's warehouses, they would have been immediately opened and the chase figures would have been given their own seperate listing, like how it was done at BBTS for the latest Huntress, Green Lantern Corps builder and DKR Batman@jayjonah You may have made that deal a little prematurely. I'm fairly certain EE is like Amazon where the plats are just mixed-in. BBTS would probably be separating the plats to sell for higher prices regardless of what Todd says because they have scalper roots.
I had to work today so couldn't respond to the comments until getting off work and back at home.
EE doesn't open their cases. I sometimes purchase a case of MLs instead of getting them single carded. If it lists a case of 8 or a case of 6 on their site, you will get an unopened case.
I have only purchased two cases from EE of McF's DC Multiverse. The first case was the DC Multiverse Batman Theatrical 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6. The chase figures were in the case. I gave the extra Batman figures to my daughter who didn't have any of the figures. I purchased the chase Catwoman for her off ToySnowman since the case had only one chase Catwoman. The second case was the DC Multiverse Batman Wave 2 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6. Once again the chase figures were in the case except Dick Grayson Batman but I got him off Walmart's site. Basically I'm two for two for cases with chase figures inside. The case DC McFarlane Collector Edition Wave 7 7-Inch Scale Action Figure Case of 6 with a GL/DKR Batman/Huntress should be here next week so we will see if the pattern continues.
EQL is live for the Platinum versions of DKR Bats, GL Corps and Huntress:
Good luck to all. I already got mine from BBTS. Go figure when I actually bought the original wave from McFarlane Toy Store for once.
I know I said I wasn't going to bother entering again - but I really do want the Platinum GL pretty badly, so I did enter for that. Won't hold my breath though.
