Does anyone know what bodies Task Force Superman, Flash and Batman are on?
I did my a breakdown in my earlier lost. Flash is a reuse of the Flashpoint one on BB body with possibly a new head.
Batman is Knightfall.
Superman is either Crisis or entirely new (which would be hard to believe at this point in the lifetime of this line). At first I thought it was Infected but there are no cuffs on the wrists.
I believe that Superman is using the Crisis wave body. Have that figure in hand and it appears to use the same joint cuts.
Had grabbed this one to make a KC Supes custom but now waiting to see McFarlane’s version.
Also for those who haven't seen them yet. Guy is most likely on the Kyle body. PG probably reuses parts of WW/Superwoman and Snart is the old figure with a new head. Same goes for the Flashpoint guys.
Powergirl looks decent. I wonder if they're going to make the articulation cuts ugly like on the last Wonder Woman. All of the figures in this toyline are hit and miss, females maybe more so than the male figures. Well, Todd, late is better than never, so good on you for trying.
So is this new Red Platinum thing replacing Gold Label? Because the explanation at the panel was that this will be used to get more obscure characters retailers don't particularly care about into the line, but Gold Label is already largely this anyway.

Red is now denoting alternates that are entirely different characters like Question and Sportsmaster. No mention of Gold Label going away, which is just code for store exclusive at this point.
It seem like Todd spent the first three years of holding the DC license doing Batman and Superman figures almost exclusively, all the while DC fans calling for OTHER characters in the vast, rich superhero universe to be made into figures. Now with Batman tapped almost completely (I mean, what iteration of Batman from the last 25-30 yeast has he NOT made into a figure?) Todd seems forced into making the other DC characters that fans wanted all along, even to the point of having to finally get to some (*gulp*) female characters. Except he's going to lock most of them behind platinumredgoldcollectors labels and make it so your chances of getting it are 50/50 at the very best. But you'll never have trouble getting a Batman. Not a great look.

Hardly the most exciting thing going on today, but I found Batman Armor Azrael on the shelf today. Not the Platinum, of course, but the red version. I think I was just so surprised to see him after all these months and let my excitement get the better of me, that I snagged him, but not sure if I'll end up keeping him. I love the look, but I'm worried about the sturdiness of the "cape", and if they make him too topheavy or hinder movement. Red is a tough color to get right in plastic, I think, especially the more glossy reds like this. Anyone who's gotten him have strong feelings either way on him once they've taken him out of the box?
I like him a lot; weirdly Ive come to prefer the red (maybe something Stockholm syndrome adjacent is at work). With some caveats tho - I left the spines/cape off. I found em too fiddly and a faff with the top heavy balance. Plus, I dislike them looks wise (and do like the look without them). Also, I tweaked/modded various bits of articulation for range and to help with stability.
I noticed that we didn't see anything about a Norm breyfogle batman at the panel? Think there's a chance that someone must have gotten it confused with the Justice League: Total Heroes video game version?
I’m hoping not! I think one variant of the leaks specified a particular cover, so we’ll see I guess. That’s one I’m looking forward to seeing too. I was content with the knightfall, but the Morrison bats cape has sold me on that as a potential upgrade.
Wait so we’re finally getting a mullet Supes on a decent body, plus an accurate Wally and Darkseid without cape….and they added pixelation. My goodness it’s hard to be a fan of this line.

Random question for this line - I completely missed that McFarlane had issued a Catman. Is he worth paying a premium price for? He's a favorite character and I don't buy a TON of McFarlane anymore, but I'd overpay for Catman just out of loyalty to the character.

Looks like some good stuff coming. At least more up my alley than usual. Hoping Guy comes with a bowl cut alternate head, but I won't hold my breath.
Is the talk show set that comes with Joker and Murray plastic or cardboard?

Y'know...I probably would have bought that whole Task Force wave...even that ridiculous looking Aquaman...but the pixel look just kills it for me. If Todd winds up doing versions without that stupid motif I might bite, especially the Flash.
Does anyone else think the Guy Gardner figure looks like some teenager cosplaying as his favorite Lantern?
It looks like a pretty fine translation of modern Guy, though the classic bowl cut would've been fun.
