That Kryptonite Spear is so bendy.

I was really hoping they would take a new crack at Cavill's head...it's like they saw the Whedon version of him and said "hold my beer." Yikes.

The more I see of that Batman the less I want him, too.

@new-batman thanks man! But fucking hell, 160 USD after tax and shipping to get it to Poland. Damn, I'm gonna risk it then and wait for it to pop up here. The Forever one did, as have most of the previous ones, so hopefully Todd won't screw me on this one.

They should have at least changed it to an angry face or heat vision eyes. Would have been iconic to include the heat vision blasts to replicate this.

If I read the IG post correctly, I think the Knightmare/Armored Batman 2-pack will be available from Walmart & the McF store.

I'm currently on a four day weekend and I knew I was taking a chance living life this morning and not hanging around the computer.  I missed 1978 Superman preorder 🙁

But that Walmart Darkseid is up now and I got him.

So, I've been kinda slowing down on my McF DC purchases lately, then The Question is released, but I can't find him in-store because only one of my local walmarts sells McF toys at all, and Todd decided to make him exclusively a Platinum, so I'm pretty much SOL there. Then he announces a Mr. Terrific but the proper version is Platinum and it's not even totally accurate. Then he finally makes a Legion character and he's a walmart collector con exclusive and sells out before I even wake up.

The recent leak list has a bunch of stuff I want for my collection, but I'm really starting to lean towards giving up on this line. It's just too frustrating and disheartening to try to collect without resorting to ebay flippers.

platinum classic mr. terrific

Make the look from the 8-issue series the regular and the look with dozens of comic and media appearances the platinum.  I try to be positive, but damn they are actively sucking the joy out of DC figures.

It's also super weird to me that for the promo photos they went with the screaming in pain/constipated face instead of the stoic face...   I almost didn't notice that there was a normal stoic face option for the figure at first and thought that was a terrible choice.

He's still up on Gamestop and EE.

Hardly the most exciting thing going on today, but I found Batman Armor Azrael on the shelf today. Not the Platinum, of course, but the red version. I think I was just so surprised to see him after all these months and let my excitement get the better of me, that I snagged him, but not sure if I'll end up keeping him. I love the look, but I'm worried about the sturdiness of the "cape", and if they make him too topheavy or hinder movement. Red is a tough color to get right in plastic, I think, especially the more glossy reds like this. Anyone who's gotten him have strong feelings either way on him once they've taken him out of the box?

@kryptonian Thanks for the link. That was enlightening. I found it odd that they were kind of hyping up the fact that they don't produce very many of some figures so that they become scarce and then the prices go up on the secondary market. Like that's a positive thing. It's almost like bragging that you're helping the scalpers screw over your loyal customers. Gee thanks.

Mission Accomplished

Went to Walmart looking for 2 Green Lanterns. Just 2 hanging on the pegs.

Been looking for the Spawn Call of Duty. Went across the street to Target, BAM there he was!!

I also got my Christopher Reeve order in through Walmart, but it's fulfilled by the McF Store so I bypassed paying them the shipping. 😏💪

It looks like 1978 Superman comes with 2 heads.  Is the one head supposed to be evil Superman?   If he does come with 2 heads, it's a shame one of them isn't smiling.

This struck me as well. The way they spoke about was really a slap in the face. They just…know they are making our lives harder? And they think that’s cool because the toys are rare and valuable on eBay?

Keeping your product out of the hands of your customers is such backwards logic.
