I don't order from McFarlane store unless it's a store exclusive and I have no other choice.

I don't have an attachment to Simon GL or Mr. Terrific.  If I did I guess I'd be upset about them both being on Todd's version of the Bucky Cap buck and getting upcharged to "Collector's Edition" price for no other reason than because the box says it's collector's edition.  Very little money goes into these figures when it's just repainting standard bucks.

Stopped by Wal-Mart and found the new wave last night...everyone except The Question.

DEVASTATING. Hate this for us.

Got my Forever Robin in today. Needs the various articulation mods as usual, but a good bit to like about him. But - the red paint is already coming off pretty badly from his diaper. Anyone else have this issue? I think I’m going to have to bite the bullet and take it all off, which is a bit of a pain but hopefully looks ok, even if not accurate.

Seeing the figures released for BVS, I would prefer a BAF wave like some of the other movie waves. Maybe Alfred will come with the Batmobile and then released as a platinum single.

The two new BvS Batmen look great. So glad we're finally getting them in this Multiverse style; these two looks are some of my favorite live action Batman looks just because of how unique they are. Never thought the day would come where I had way more Battfleck figures than any other Batman, but I'll take them. It's a bummer the Knightmare doesn't come with a gun, but it should be easy enough to find one for him. What I'm really bummed at is the Armored Batman not coming with the Kryptonite spear. Makes me wonder if there won't be a battle damaged Platinum/Gold Label/2-pack later on with a broken mask and spear.

There is a Platinum. It's theorized to be battle damaged. It would be beyond cruel to include the spear.

Passing on that yes Armoured Batman has a chase but I've got money on it being a simple colour change, we'll find out by Friday anyway as HK are receiving them this week.

There is also a CE 2pack of both Armoured Batman and Knightmare Batman which is where I'm assuming we see guns, spears, damaged Armoured headsculpt and perhaps a cloth trench for Knightmare.

Unless they do a dirty and give the spear to either Superman (2pack with Doomsday or the BvS wave Superman chase).

With the new BvS figures being shown off, it seems like the BvS Batman that has been lingering for months is not dropping out of sight.  Online stores are showing out of stock, amazon price is starting to creep up.  I found one remaining at my Target yesterday and grabbed it.

@new-batman I like the figure but why does have those stupid bracelet cuffs?? God damnit Todd why do you always have to be this consistent pain in the ass when it comes to this kind of thing.

Because when he got the license four years ago, his first Superman figure had cuffs that were accurate to that ONE SPECIFIC look he was going for the first time around and in all of his dozens of Superman releases since then, he's been too lazy to make it accurate with no cuffs.  That's the God's honest answer to your question.

I need to see more pics.  Not excited about the cuffs or the very plastic-y look.  It will be nice if we get accessories to justify the $30 but we'll see about that.

Wrist cuffs, a huge torso gap and an S symbol that’s protruding way too much. They tried to hide the damn wrist cuffs in their promo photo. When we’re getting charged $30 collector prices for re-used figures, you should have budget to make Reeve Superman look correct. Those wrists are on almost every single Superman figure released, and they were very short lived in the comics. Enough already.

Those Snyderverse figures are picture perfect - although I could care less about the movies, they are objectively great figures. Not sure why McFarlane gave more love and care to a cave troll from the Synderverse than an icon that changed the superhero genre.

I’m happy enough to get my Bucky Cap Simon Baz because he fits in the Rebirth Mattel JLA that never made him. I want to like Reeve Superman but very torn. Otherwise I’m happy to pass on the rest, been spending a good bit on McFarlane pre orders.

The Reeve figure (no 'S' on that name, fellas) looks pretty good, though far from perfect. For a $30 figure though, it looks well enough. I used to be on the train of "these figures need to look perfect for the higher price!", but then I started collecting imports and Hot Toys and now these $30 toys look just fine for what they are. Perspective, I guess lol But he looks ok. He won't replace the Mezco One:12 version in my collection, but I'll still grab him to throw with the Keaton Batman Todd made.

I am happy to finally get a movie Doomsday, and I'm looking forward to seeing what Superman looks like in that 2-pack. Doomsday's design was obviously poor, but I think the only toys we've seen for him were a Funko Pop and a limited-articulation 12-inch figure. Bad design or no, I'll be happy to have one for my movie shelf. The Snyderverse lost its luster long ago for me, but I still have the universe represented on a shelf. I'll pass on Knightmare Batman, but the Armored Bats looks good and has a good likeness and WW looks great too. Too bad these figures didn't come out years ago.
