Sigh. The new Platinums hit my Walmart and I missed them and these never restock here. I arrived at my Walmart this morning to find like 8 of that new crappy Red Hood left from those cases, but not a single Question, Shining Kinght, Effigy or even a freaking Cyborg. I hate McFarlane so, so much. That Shining Knight especially is one of my most wanted DC figures in a long time.
Meanwhile nobody wants the Page Puncher Earth-2 Armored Superman Platinum. It's been on a shelf all by itself at my Target for well over a month and probably longer. I bet it hits clearance soon. That same Target almost got me when it had 3 NECA Foot Ninjas on a clearance end-cap with no clearance sticker. I checked the price and they're all still full price.
Ugh, finding the leftover remnants of the wave you're looking for is worse than finding nothing at all. That same thing happened to me too last week. I got to my Walmart and found just a couple of Red Hoods and Cyborgs on the pegs, and no Question or Shining Knight. (I was just looking for The Question myself). Like you, they are not likely to get restocked, so that's pretty much that. There were plenty of Max Mercury and Zombie Shazam though.
McFarlane releasing new characters that have never been done in the line yet as nearly impossible to find stand alone Platinum figures is pretty cold blooded. That's the kind of thing that should be reserved for minor variants of figures that already have a standard wide release (like they were doing). Not for original characters that aren't available any other way at all (like Sportsmaster, Question, Shining Knight, etc.)
Random but for anyone with the Gotham Knights Robin and the Batman Forever Robin, does the GK head fit on the BF body? Thanks in advance ☺️

nope, the mask is molded to the face then painted on, it's not a separate piece.

But, between pre order dates not always being right, and the current strikes at the ports, you're probably right.
