Amazon finally delivered Ragman this afternoon. I really do like him quite a alot. My only nit to pick is the insanely long tie on the hood. Like it's ridiculously long - is there a reason for this?
Yes, because that what it looked like in the comics. Ridiculously long.
I guess I was expecting something more like this:
You know - without the crazy weird giant bow tied at his throat.. but I do see that it's accurate to comics... it just looked ridiculous as it came. I got it to look much better by pulling the knot tighter and eliminating the stupid giant "bunny ears" of the bow and just having the long strings hanging down at least.
I just can't picture Ragman if he's not drawn by Kelley Jones. RagManFile.exe does not open
I went to my local Walmart this morning in Western PA and there were 3 Cyborgs, 3 Red Hoods, 2 Questions & 2 Shining Knights. There were no Effigy figures. They might show up later or at other nearby Walmarts in the area. I might check Gamestop to see if they show up there. I really like the Question figure.
I just got a pretty good deal on Amazon. I hadn't picked up the Joker and Punchline set yet. Amazon had in their used/damaged section a couple of sets of that 2 pack for just $27.
It said everything in the packaging was fine, just damage to the packaging itself. Any time I've ordered something like that before it was always as described. So, hopefully this will be the same.

The Tumbler is listed again on Amazon but for $119.99. That is $30.00 more than what McFarlane was charging for the Tumbler and Lucius Fox.
I referred to them as being a Scalper for a more than $30 price hike after I explained to them that McFarlane charged $89.99 for the Tumbler and Lucius Fox as a set.

I don't think so. It's just the only place he's showing up right now. He's one of those solo release Platinum figures that you can't pre-order and that you have to try to find in a brick and mortar store.
Walmart had some listed on their website, but it sold out before I knew about it. I check it every day, but it always says "Not Available".
Hopefully they will start showing up at Target and GameStop, etc.
Found 66 Batman and the Platinum Flash Batman yesterday at a Target that almost never has new stuff. Nearly missed them too- they were off the peg and sorta behind a couple big Transformers boxes. I never have any luck with Platinum releases, so I'd just written it off, but I figured I shouldn't pass it up. I thought the suit looked kinda bad in the movie (then again, the whole movie looked kinda off to me), but in person, I really like the colors and straps and such. Haven't fully committed and opened him yet, but I'm digging Strappy Bats so far.
66 Batman is really nice too and just brings me joy to look at. I've never really been a huge fan of oversized bendable capes, but I do prefer them to the big plastic-y ones. Guess I'll have to start getting used to them and learning how to properly pose them to look cool. Got him posed with the Batusi hands, because how can you not? I don't need the entire 66 line redone in the Multiverse style, but having at least Robin and the main 4 villains might be nice.
I find McFarlane stuff in general pretty hit and miss, much as I like some aspects of what they do. So I'm pretty used to modding what I do pick up. I like the dick Grayson bats/knightfall body quite a bit (proportions, the cape, headsculpt), but the articulation range as always I find frustrating (mainly because I feel like most of the issues I have with the figures should all be easy fixes on their side). Anyway, I spent bit of time on his ab joints, diaper, neck and bum cheeks to try and get things closer to what l'm after and the below is the result:
I'd like the hips to get better forward range still, but that'd mean really exposing a gap between the diaper and thighs, which I'm not quite up for. I’m enjoying him a lot now!
Sigh. The new Platinums hit my Walmart and I missed them and these never restock here. I arrived at my Walmart this morning to find like 8 of that new crappy Red Hood left from those cases, but not a single Question, Shining Kinght, Effigy or even a freaking Cyborg. I hate McFarlane so, so much. That Shining Knight especially is one of my most wanted DC figures in a long time.
Meanwhile nobody wants the Page Puncher Earth-2 Armored Superman Platinum. It's been on a shelf all by itself at my Target for well over a month and probably longer. I bet it hits clearance soon. That same Target almost got me when it had 3 NECA Foot Ninjas on a clearance end-cap with no clearance sticker. I checked the price and they're all still full price.
I was going to say something about Jonah Hex's height, he comes in a little short for me. I looked up the height on DC Fandom and he is 5ft11. Jonah Hex is the same height as Huntress. I don't know I just thought he would be taller.
A few days ago, I said I got a good deal on the Joker/Punchline 2 Pack from Amazon. it was $27 instead of the normal $40 due to the packaging being damaged, being sold by Amazon from their warehouse. Which was great, because all I really wanted from the set was Punchline, since I don't love that particular Joker.
$27 is just about like paying for one figure. So, I grabbed the set. And any time I've bought stuff from the Amazon warehouse when the packaging was damaged, everything has always been completely fine.
Well, I get this 2 Pack, and it has the wrong Joker in it. Luckily, Punchline was fine, and that's all I wanted. But with her in the 2 pack was the first release of this Joker mold, with the eyeball in the left hand, the green vest and purple gloves.
Instead of the Joker that should have been in there, which is the same mold/body, headsculpt, etc. just no eyeball in left hand, white gloves, and an orange vest.
The box was sealed as far as the tape, and the figures were still in their plastic tie restraints. So, someone swapped it out really well.
But no big deal. I paid $27 for Punchline. That works for me.
