@yojoebro82 I got him from Amazon. He actually arrived on September 15th while I was out of town.
The new head sculpt sculpted for the Batman figure with Ace is the head sculpt that should have been used for Bullseye Batman. That's the time in the comics when those different costumes were introduced and the way Batman looks in the comics during that time. I guess I will purchase some Gundam paint pens and an extra Batman and Ace to give it go myself when the figure arrives.
Scale on Damian isn’t bad. Could probably mod him by taking a small amount off of the bottom of the calves and dremeling. Overall really loving this figure.
I'm so happy, because I found Hugo Strange dressed as Batman Platinum Edition at my local Wal-Mart today. I went and looked at the DC Multiverse section, and as usual, lots of cool figures, but no Hugo. But there was one lone DC Multiverse figure laying on the very top of the shelves with all the extra merchandise.
And it was Hugo!
Dreams do come true kids.
Uhhg, had a worst case scenario situation at my local Walmart today. Went there hoping against hope to find The Question, and of course they didn't have him. But to make matters worse they had the remnants of the rest of the case. (Two Cyborg and Two Red Hood), which means I just missed him. I don't know if they put them out this morning or sometime yesterday, but I was just there a couple of days ago and they had nothing. I was going to go yesterday but I was too busy with work. It really stings to know that if I could have gone by there I may have snagged one.
Now the odds of me ever getting that figure (which has been on my most wanted list for a long time) are next to zero. Because my Walmart is not likely to get a restock on those, and I'm not paying ridiculous scalper prices. Once again I want to thank McFarlane Toys for screwing over their loyal customers with this new "Solo Platinum" figure program that makes something that used to be fun into a miserable frustrating drudge.

I've honestly found so many Gold Label exclusives this way at Walmart. Always look up top. Never found a Platinum up there yet, but that's a fairly recent thing.
@ninjak I understand your frustration. What makes it worse is that one person probably bought all they had. McFarlane Toy Store usually offers these through EQL a bit after release and I've had luck buying some of these at the Canadian retailers CMDStore and ToySnowman. I've been fortunate to eventually get everything I wanted so far except that I only ended up with one Manhunter robot when I wanted 2, but I just wasn't willing to pay $70 for a second one. I also expect this to be tested on the new Green Lantern Corps Platinum and possibly the Huntress Platinum.
Yeah, I figure EQL is my best chance at this point. I've entered two EQL drawings and I'm batting 500. I won the chance to buy Platinum Hawkman, but struck out on Sportsmaster (pun intended). When (and if) The Question comes around I'll definitely give it a shot.
I'm so grumpy about the Green Lantern Platinum - because those are the two heads I actually want. Hoping I can luck into at least one and then just use a regular version to pop the second head on to. I guess I'm lucky I don't usually have to care about the Platinum nonsense...
I feel you, had the same thing happen in 5 of the area Walmarts, a couple of which I had just been to the day prior. Actually ended up buying a Mcfarlane Collector Club membership to up my EQL odds like an idiot.
best buy has collector edition's penguin and boomerang for $17 each.

I guess it remains to be seen how sought after The Question is but Sportsmaster and Manhunter seem to be somewhat available on eBay for $35-$40 now, which is barely cost + shipping + fees. I don’t think too many people are lining up to overpay for these anymore, so here’s to hoping Question is readily available. Even now he’s going for about $50-$60 which is lower than most of the new chases have been at release.
The closest Walmart is an hour and 10 minutes round trip from me (not including actually walking around in the store). To be honest $35 is a good price for me to avoid the gas and time, with a chance of not finding the right figure. There’s really no reason for store exclusives at all but that’s a price that works for me.
It would seem Walmart has/had Question and Shining Knight up on the site. Hopefully this is just a place holder until the next Walmart Con. I saw no listing for Effigy.
i had been checking the links with no luck. Today I stopped by a Walmart for something else, so I swung by the toys section where I found The Question and Shining Knight. Looks like this is the week they debuted in the Atlanta area.
Amazon finally delivered Ragman this afternoon. I really do like him quite a alot. My only nit to pick is the insanely long tie on the hood. Like it's ridiculously long - is there a reason for this?
