General question: Are the heads on most McFarlane figures interchangeable? I know the Dark Knight Superman uses a fatter peg than the Detective Comics Superman for example.

Mostly, yes. But they should be entirely if you swap out the whole double ball peg.

What's up with Amazon these days? They used to be pretty reliable, but my First Appearance Superman figure was just delayed again (for the like 9th time) until October 1st now. When I originally PO'd that figure I think the release date was sometime in early August. Then it got delayed to later in August, then early in September, then mid-September, then late September, and now early October. Geezus! I'm not even all that super hyped for that figure because it's just a repainted Infected/Hush Superman, but come on! Pick a friggin' date and stick to it already. I guess the notion of keeping your customers happy is an idea from the distant past now.

My movie Batman 6 pack has been delayed 4 times at least by this point. It's currently estimated for arrival on the 27th, but hasn't actually even come in stock yet, and I don't feel like paying $30 more at BBTS just to get it earlier.

Black Manta looks cool, but he’s got weapon holding hands without anything to hold. Trailer makes it look like he should have come with a trident.

The King figure comes with the black trident. Todd trying to get people to "collect them all" to get accessories that make sense.

Good point! I didn’t notice that!

That's pretty annoying. Manta has the trident in almost all trailers/photos I've seen from the film. Pretty lame.

@panthercult Absolutely. Plus some of those crazy fish people from that kickstarter. I never planned on a Namor display, but when the star align....

The easiest repaints Todd is sitting on: Super Santa Red and Super Santa Blue. Two-pack with a few presents to deliver. New body and heads, cloth coats and hats.

Right...   Namor would probably look pretty good shouting "Imperius Rex"  from the back of one these...

I'm thinking the same thing.  Nice ride for Namor.  Or even one of the many fish guy figures coming out from other lines.   I'm going to wait for it to drop in price.   Almost every oversized McF figure gets marked down, and I imagine a giant seahorse is probably not going to be much in demand by the public.   Maybe retailers will under-order it, though.

That's weird, I guess BBTS raised the price after the initial pre-order. I paid $120 for it but I see now that it's $150.

Preordered both.  The legs on Supergirl don't bother me since it seems most McDC's have their own tweaks.  Don't really need the WW, but I was able to get Aquaman and Project: Superman on the cheap so now I want to complete Cyborg.

I went ahead and pre-ordered that Seahorse. It's just such a unique item and will work nicely with the comic figs as well.

That movie Black Manta would also work great as a classic comic version. But I picked up the Page Punchers Manta a while back, and he's a great Neo-classic comic figure. I like all the extra details and doo-dads on him, so I'll probably pass on the movie fig.

I also went ahead and pre-ordered both. I like the Supergirl a lot better than the Injustice 2 Page Puncher version, even though I still have at least 2 Mattel versions that I like better. Although I greatly enjoyed the Flashpoint comic, I don't have a strong desire to have these looks in action figure form - but with that being said WW was the only one that I'm missing to complete Cyborg so I went ahead and pre-ordered her even though I'll likely use this figure as a generic Amazon warrior.

I love the 6-pack, may more of the film figures continue enter this scale.
