The Neca section at a Walmart here (Germantown, Wisconsin) is the same way. And I’ve seen in some Toy Hunters YouTube videos where the Legos in Target are in locked cases where you have to press a red button to get help to unlock
@tmntfanatic yup, most all the Legos at Targets around here are all locked up in glass cases. I did actually press a red button at this Walmart...and got a fast response. The Target across the street even had an employee guarding the new pallet being put out. She asked if she could "help" me. Didn't see a blue taped McF box so I said Nope.

The stuff in the deodorant aisle at my closest Walmart is all behind glass and when an employee does come, they take what you've selected and lock it in a clear plastic box that someone has to unlock at the register when you're checking out. I went through that for a $4 stick of deodorant a few weeks ago. It's insane.
They also close down half or more of the self-checkouts at a certain point in the night.
Oddly, I rarely shop there anymore ...
Walmart by me doesn’t even open up half the self checkout lanes anymore.
Just got Darkseid delivered from Amazon. Pretty cool figure. I immediately got rid of the terrible cape, and it improved the figure immensely for me. I can't take off the "D" emblem without damaging the chest, but it doesn't bother me that much now the cape is gone. As seen in a lot of the online reviews, the arms pop off pretty easily, but it's really not that bad. Still, for a $40 figure, they should do better with things like that.
All-in-all a solid release and so far it's the best in-scale classic Darkseid out there, so I'm happy to add it to the collection.

wow that’s crazy!!! Here in Miami everything is open at Walmart and target, all the toys are on pegs and shelves no glass cases except for the pharmacy aisle.
Cripes and I just purchased the Rebirth era robin like a week ago to pair with this Batman. I also managed to snag an Adam West Batman and I guess I'm going to have to bite my lip and watch the show now too. That's not something I do very frequently but if I can hang in there for all of season 1 then I guess that's good enough
Is there anything new to that Deathstroke?

That's what happens with high theft items/areas.
Almost ALL of the small items in my Electronics department at Walmart are being slowly put in glass cases, and the items have to be checked out in the department. Might be inconvenient, but that's what happens when the bad apples spoil it for everyone honest.
I'm visiting my mom out of town and stopped by a Walmart close to her house. They had two Grayson Batman(black), Hugo Strange Batman, and the bullseye silver age Batman. Picked up Grayson and Strange. Never expected to see Strange in person.
@tmntfanatic Yeah, the local Walmart by me has the Legos locked up as well. I don't collect Lego but are people really stealing them to that extent that they're locked up?
@chooch555 he's blue instead of black. The unmasked head is new, and the initial release only came with the more standard Deathstroke sword, this one has a katana and staff.
Wasn't there also a Page Puncher Christopher Reeve Superman on a leaked list? Or am I remembering that wrong?
Robin and Deathstroke look awesome.
That Supes is the next wave, also both these 2 will have Plats 😉

Cheers for the info. Can't wait to see the plats and the next wave.
I'm yet to read much of stories with Dick and Damian as Batman & Robin other than what's in Superman Batman Omnibus vol 2. Are the stories worth a read?
