Something strange at my local Target. Saw some Page Punchers Ghosts of Krypton a few weeks ago. Then they were gone. Thought they were sold. Today, a few(the same ones) showed up on the clearance end cap. Picked up the Brainiac drone for $12.49...less than the McF Store sale price of 13.99.

On Saturday, I also found a few McFarlane's on an endcap ("hidden", sort of, near the back wall). They had PP Ghosts of Krypton Superman, Val Zod Superman, and Ghost of Zod for $12.49. I picked up Superman. They also had the JLA Batman (all black, with Plastic Man heads) on clearance for $7.49, and they had 14 of him. No others from that wave, though.

Even the inconsistent Target pricing is strange to me. Scanned a JLA Batman in my area expecting it to be $7.49, but it was still 24.99. My buddy found a few Platinum Braniac + Val-Zod, scanned them, $30.49 each. WtF?! 14 JLA Batmans though...wow.

Haha, yep, I was shocked...the way they were stacked on the shelf, I expected to find the entire JLA wave there and I thought I was going to get all 4 + Plas for $30. But nope, Batman after Batman after Batman after......I've never seen so many of one figure in one place before.

Got Adam West Batman, DickBats, and Green Arrow this weekend. All good figures, but I'm definitely going to have to find a better bow for GA. The thing is flimsy, and there is no string on the bow (what is this, a Liefeld comic?).

'66 Batman is way more fun than I thought he'd be. Even the oversized cape doesn't take away from the figure.

Picked up the regular version of Grayson Batman. I have two McFigs with wired capes now and frankly this just needs to be a standard thing from here on out. I love him so much I will probably get the platinum version next time I see him. He hasn't been hard to find around my area.

Strange, I ordered Adam West Batman, Dick Grayson Batman & Fusion from MTS and still haven't received the figures. I have seen all 3 in Walmart today along with the platinum versions. No point in cancelling from MTS since they take your money right away, but I know they will arrive.

I haven't been to Walgreens in a long time & I stopped at one in a nearby town, where I had an appointment, just to see what figures they had. There was a Mattel DC Multiverse DKR Armored Batman from the Doomsday BAF wave from 2016. Has it been on the shelf for 8 years? It probably is still regular price.

These newer capes are driving me nuts. Ragman/Tim Drake are great but  Grayson, West, Batman from Bane 2 pack…they all have that same shiny material. It’s too rigid to drape naturally and the wires are too flimsy to get it into any decent neutral pose without a ton of work. I really can’t stand them. At least the regular cloth draped like an actual cape.

Been enjoying the new figures but this is my glaring pet peeve.

Got Ragman in. Cape feels kind of small since this is more intended to be his 90s look, and I wish he came with extra sets of hands... but overall? So glad he exists. Give us Nightshade next, Todd!

We definitely need to pair a Kelley Jones Batman with Ragman too

Scales perfectly next to NECA Batman. I’m torn on Ragman…he should be darker colors and he is devoid of paint…but I’m also just happy he exists.

I’ve been enjoying the non chase parts of the line. The wave of collector figures with Ragman was solid, I’m really loving the West/Grayson figures, and Cyborg/Red Hood look great. To an extent the chase figures have been more obscure…Shining Knight, Effigy, Sportsmaster. At least not to the level of Blue Azrael.

Still, common sense could go a long way. Like making 90s Huntress the main figure with all of your other 90s releases instead of a New 52 look that fits with nothing…or maybe 50/50 pack your GL variants on a figure made to buy multiples instead of making a figure with 2 unique heads a 1 in 6. Looking at EBay prices it seems like the bottom is falling out with so many resellers/flippers buying this line that aren’t keeping them, I think a small change could make a lot of these much easier to get.

That neca Batman is in no way indicitave of a Kelley Jones Batman. Its supposed to be based on Bernie Wrightson's art but it looks more like Dermont Power's art style.

I can definitely agree they can be hard to put in a neutral pose. I didn't have that issue with Detective Comics #27 Batman though. Grayson Bats wires are definitely harder. Still I like it but I can see why some people wouldn't necessarily.

It's always the same story with my BBTS Pile of Loot. Last time I had it ship after Ambush Bug and others came in then Mr Freeze arrived the very next day. This time I have it shipped yesterday when Astonishing Wolverine and Walgreens Silver Surfer reissue hit (among other things) and because that same Mr Freeze was almost at his maximum 90-day limit (less than a week left), and the very next day I get a notice that Darkseid is about to hit. It never fails. Now Darkseid will probably sit there for nearly 90 days too. LOL! That's ok, though because the Batman '66 Alfred and Bookworm and the Diamond Invincible Rex-Splode and Mauler Twins should be hitting anytime now also.

@mysticmanjrf It’s time to make figures with both plastic and cloth capes. The Batman 66 figures would be so much better if they came with both. Plastic for standing, cloth for sitting in Batmobiles or certain poses.  Cloth capes even wired never really flow right no matter what people imagine.

I personally don't like cloth capes because I don't have enclosed displays, so the cloth capes are just dust magnets.

I hate the cloth capes. Especially on 1:12 scale plastic figures. Boring triangles that either just hang there or are difficult to pose and never look quite right.

You can never get anything that looks this good with a cloth cape.

The sculpted capes just look so much better, IMO with all the folds and pleats and details, etc. I’m personally extremely disappointed that McFarlane is now seemingly going strictly with the cloth capes. I’m just glad that we already got a lot of good figures of Batman and Superman with sculpted capes.

Except that the Hush Batman doesn't entirely sport a neutral cape, it's kind of wind swept. Or at least frozen in mid swing. And thats part of the problem with static capes in general; if you are looking for the perfect Batman, Superman or Robin figure and you find something that nearly checks out all the boxes outside of the fact that the cape is in a crazy pose, well...then you really cant pose it how you want because the sculpt of the cape is going to predetermine how this figure should be displayed. Its not exactly ideal. At least with a wired cape (provided that the wire, the cape material and the anchor points are strong) you can pose the cape in any fashion you choose depending on the circumstances of how the figure is articulated or if its for ACBA or just what looks good in your head, you'll never have a problem. There are no limitations and there's no metric. You're just allowed to have fun with it.
