Walmart, Walmart, I saw that Dick Grayson and TV series Batman were listed as in stock on their website late last night and did a purchase. I received the items earlier today coming from a Walmart close in my area. I received two TV series Batman and one was the Platinum. I am keeping the Platinum and went ahead and did another purchase hoping this time I receive the regular or Platinum version of Dick Grayson Batman.

was not expecting it to be the detective mode version... so a pass for me.
There's pics of the Arkham City Batman and Grundy 2 pack on reddit, Batman is detective mode deco like the old dc direct/collectibles one and Grundy is as if you're looking at him through detective vision so bright orange and translucent.

Looks like a Platinum Kryptonite Batman up there top right also. Likely another easy skip.
Is that a thing people will actually want? Like frostbite Batman - I guess I cold see as something you could display with your Mr. Freeze or something... but golden x-ray Grundy... it's hard to imagine feeling like that's a need.
On the other hand... the engineering is really cool. Like there are actual sculpted skeleton parts inside the translucent plastic parts? That seems like an insane amount of cost to make... you'd essentially have to sculpt, make molds and print an entire second figure then place those parts inside the bigger mold and pour translucent plastic around them and assemble. No paint work, sure... but still. It's still not a figure I'm going to make space for in my collection, but I do have to admire the work that went into it.
And I guess it's way cooler than some of the ridiculous variants they're pumping out like whatever the translucent blue Deathstroke is that Gamestop is getting...
I would highly recommend the Batman Reborn figures they are fun to handle. And I've been hearing positive things about that Adam West Batman. I really hope that we get that Christopher Reeve Superman that was leaked earlier this year.
A thought just occurred to me regarding that X-Ray Grundy. Shouldn't the boss battle villains be marked in translucent red instead of yellow? They're the bigger threat.
opened my plat grayson batman, awesome figure but i have 2 small gripes.
the blue is a bit bright, the mattel one matched the dark blue from the comic but i can let it go.
i love the wire cape, i'm glad todd is given us wire capes now but he need to give us more slack. i want to have my batman to glide but the cape can't spread far. needs to give the figures bigger cape with.
this morning i found the blue batfleck at another walmart, glad they gave a corrected version, the colors still look off but i can repaint it, this will be easier than painting a whole figure.
Ordered the Arkham City set, that Detective Bats looks just too cool to pass up! Grundy I'm meh on but we'll see once he's here. Dying for an Origins Batman some day though.
Also have the Forever wave finally coming from MTS and went for the Strange, Bullseye and Plat FA Bats because I'm not waiting for them to hit the UK. After this stuff the biggies are the Question and Shining Knight then let's get that BvS wave in the Fall!
Something strange at my local Target. Saw some Page Punchers Ghosts of Krypton a few weeks ago. Then they were gone. Thought they were sold. Today, a few(the same ones) showed up on the clearance end cap. Picked up the Brainiac drone for $12.49...less than the McF Store sale price of 13.99.
I received Platinum Hugo Strange Batman from Walmart today. It was showing up late last night early morning on the site. I have a ritual now if I have to wake up to use the bathroom. I turn the computer on first, go to the bathroom come back and check Walmart and Target. Lucius Fox and that Composite Superman/Batman with a little Green Lantern flavored in should be here Sat by FedEx. I guess those two couldn't be found from a close by Walmart.
Actually really like the look of both Red Hood and Cyborg. Nice job.
May get the Red Hood bike for my Grifter figure. Seems like it would be a decent fit even if he's just standing beside it.
I pre-ordered the case from EE. EE listing for the case has the chase figures listed which is supposed to be Effigy (Green Lantern), The Question and Shining Knight (Seven Soldiers of Victory).
So I've been giving it some thought, and I'm wondering that if its actually true that we are about to see a Norm Breyfogle Batman in this line in the coming months, what are the chances that its yet another blue & grey Batman vs the darker colored costume from the post Knightfall era? Granted by the time Batman was in the darker colored suit, Norm was reduced to being a guest penciller on the Batman title and only drew about a half a dozen issues and/or graphic novels between 1996-2000. I mean I guess if Todd really wanted to release both versions he could make a platinum variant again. Whatever the case I hope the figure looks stellar. And I hope its on the Knightfall body instead of the Y2 Body. The knightfall body easily has the best proportions and articulation.. Also the implimentation of the cloth cape on the most recent release in the Bane 2-pack is nice.
