Went to Walmart on a grocery run with the wife this morning and ended up finding a Platinum Dick-Bats in the Neca section. That Walmart usually has next to nothing figure-wise, so I was pretty floored.
oh forgot to mentioned, went to walmart this morning before work and found the new platinums!! they had one of each and 2 of the blue dick-bat, missed out on batfleck and fox.
got the blue dick-bat so i'm set.
Went to a Walmart 35 miles away that seemed to have these in stock. Got there, completely empty. The tags were up though. Asked a worker if they had any, she replied probably not. Got home, checked their stock again, said Fusion Bats/Superman was available for in-store pickup. 🤨

My personal experience with this at my own local Walmart is that it will show in stock for pick-up but no one can find it until it actually hits the shelf so they always cancel my order for anything that hasn't already been put out.

Managed to get my hands on both variants of the Dick Bats and all I have to say is FREAKING FINALLY!!! I've only waited 15 years for a figure of Dick Grayson as Batman. It's been ages since I read those stories too I'm going to have to refresh my memory and reread the trades
Got around to opening my Ollie today and I honestly quite like it. I feel like the shade of light green is a tad aggressive for what I remember from The Longbow Hunters - but it does remind me of my Mego Green Arrow figure I had as young child, so that's nice.
As with most of my McFarlane DC figure purchases he doesn't fit in my DC figure display but he slides in nicely to my MOTU Classics display. I figure She-Ra has an archer in her band on Etheria, so He-Man can have an archer ally in the Masters on Eternia and this guy fits the bill.

Also, easily the worse of the two Brainiac options on that body... the regular version was definitely better.
I'm definitely picking up that Cyborg to replace the Flashpoint version with. Is this the one that is supposed to have Grid as a Platinum variant? If so, I'll want that also.

I too chuckled at the EQL for the Platinum Brainiac. My Target has 3 of those on the pegs right now and that's after I picked one up. It is indeed far inferior to the regular release. They also still have the Platinum armored variant for Val-Zod, but I had zero interest in that one. I like the regular release of that one better also. Skipped Kal and the Ghost of Zod altogether.
Heh, yeah that EQL feels late.
I will say that the non-Platinum version of Brainiac is up there on my list of best figures of the year. I’m still playing with it constantly.
Walmart, Walmart, I saw that Dick Grayson and TV series Batman were listed as in stock on their website late last night and did a purchase. I received the items earlier today coming from a Walmart close in my area. I received two TV series Batman and one was the Platinum. I am keeping the Platinum and went ahead and did another purchase hoping this time I receive the regular or Platinum version of Dick Grayson Batman.
I see West Batman is on the Walmart website but it's playing the old game where you add it to your cart and then it's not available when you go to check out.
No use checking my area Walmarts as they don't stock Multiverse......

I CONSTANTLY get emails about the NECA movie Tatsu saying "we noticed you looked at something", but it's NEVER available to order, and the store I work at doesn't have an estimated arrival date for him yet.
