Classic Scarecrow and Talia were the reveals I was most excited about. Can't wait to see them. I'm interested in the modern Harley they mentioned as well. i wish they'd do another Classic Harley that didn't look so animated.
I was excited about Hugo Strange until I found out he was a damn Platinum. I may still have to try and get him though.
So, which figure is Hugo Strange dressed as Batman the Platinum Chase Variant of? Is it the Tim Drake Robin or The Batman/Superman Fusion?
Strange and Bullseye Batman are the Chases of the Fusion and DickBats case (even though both have Plats themselves).
Question, Shining Knight and Effigy are Chases in the wave after (Cyborg and Red Hood).
That take us up till Sept/October which is when we'll see the next run of stuff at NYCC 😉

Manga Batman arrived today - in all its platinum glory. From GameStop no less. Not normally a fan of not receiving what I ordered but in this case I have to say I really like the color palet of the figure. Makes for a very unique but classic retro Batman. I won’t be hunting down the regular.
OK... so Todd debuts a few figures that I am definitely going to want to own, and of course it sounds like they will be a bear to come by.
First off that Arkiss Chummuck figure looks great and I will definitely want. I'll actually want a second one to use with that Green Man head - to finally get that guy on my shelf. Both of those characters can be bigger than human sized and fit with my existing Lanterns display just fine and I'll be happy. Assuming I can get ahold of them.
Also that Shining Knight looks like a must have - but of course she's a chase variant as well, so I guess we'll see.
Effigy is interesting. I might consider picking him up if I found him but probably won't go out of my way for him.
I started checking my local Gamestops for figures since people were saying the PE figures were showing up there. I have 2 Gamestops near me, both are about 5 minutes from me in different directions. The one store basically has everything collecting dust but the store at the mall seems to have new figures out everyday. I started checking every other day or two, but I might need to go everyday. Yesterday there was Tim Drake Robin & CE Superboy. Today there was CE Sgt. Rock & Digital Superman.
My Gamestops are getting some Platinum figures, just not the one I want (Sportsmaster). In this area though, it's mainly Platinum First Appearance Batman.
I got the Batwoman Amazon exclusive 3 pack in from Amazon today. I'm so happy I was able to get this set so I could have Batwoman. Especially at the price I got it at which was like $46
But I will say, I'm even more happy I got it at a discount, because this set seems kind of cheap or something. It feels slightly half a**** perhaps.
First off, no trading cards or figure stands. No big deal, but I like getting the trading cards and I like having the stands. Next, the Clayface seems cheaper than the first one I got (The MegaFig release). I know it's the same figure, but it feels more hollow, lighter, and the joints seem pretty loose on the arms.
Then, Batwoman. Nice looking figure, but why are her knee joints at her shin bone? It seems weird that the joints/articulation that should be at her knees are just above her ankle over her boots. Like I said, around the shin. And those joints also are pretty loose.
But nevertheless, I am happy to have Batwoman, I didn't have to pay the $100-$150 folks are asking for the set on Ebay, and I didn't even have to pay the retail price. Also, the Batman figure in this set is actually really solid, and I like the colors on this version even though I have this Rebirth Batman already in various other colors.
