Yeah, I'm curious to see another angle on that collar.
The suit looks much better in other photos, and when he's standing up straight. Considering they've been shooting an action scene outdoors, I wouldn't be surprised if the looser looking one is a stunt suit to give him full range of motion for brief stunt work. These things are usually very limiting for the actors, even when they aren't molded rubber, so the stunt suits tend to have some play to the material and are a little bit oversized.
Stop trying to make (logical) sense out of out of context photos taken from people on their cell phones from their work or homes near where they're filming the scenes. 🤣
I love the look of suit, and await what the final, completed film looks like. I'm not picking anything apart until I can see the finished product as a whole.
I'm enjoying the look of it as well. Reminds me of All-Star, and most importantly - it's something we've never seen before. That's all I want out of modern comic book films...just give me something I haven't seen before.
If anyone wanted the Crisis wave but didn’t want to pay the ridiculous MTS price, the figures (including Spectre) are available from online Canadian retailers for significantly less money. Of course shipping will cut into that difference some…
I still don’t get the markup on these figures for U.S. consumers…
I decided to take another look at that Crisis Superman thinking maybe I could be persuaded to bite, but no sale. I was only reminded of the many issues this figure has. They'll reuse this buck again and we'll see where we're at then.

Said it before, that Crisis Superman body is a near perfect Christopher Reeve. Hopefully they get the head sculpt right and decrease the size of the yellow S on the cape correctly!
Got Starfire today. I like the figure overall, though she could have used open splayed finger hands for the price. I'm not a Teen Titans fan or even know that much about the figure. She just looked like a great sculpt and I'm glad Todd quit giving female figures a bulge in their diaper. That totally put me off that earlier Catwoman figure.
Dangit... the more I look at that Metallo, the more I want it. Soon I'm going to feel like I need it. Sigh.
Stay strong, remember that’s not the Metallo you REALLY wanted

I’m also very curious how/who they’ll use this sculpt for again. I’ll prefer a new Sculpt for a New 52 Superman but if they just paint on the lines or add in by gluing the extra pieces I’ll kinda be okay with it I’ll have to see how it comes out but I’m hopeful
I picked up the 1st appearance Batman yesterday. Wow. Really, really love the wired cape. I put the Hush Batman hands on him since it is the same mold basically. They fit fine. Now he looks like The Batman from the Amazon Caped Crusader series that's coming.
superman memorial statue figure, it's a sdcc exclusive.
not sure if this will be offered outside of sdcc but we'll see.
Why would you make an action figure of a statue? Why not just make a statue? Oh wait, Todd McFarlane did it, now it makes sense. It looks like the Action Comics #1000 figure with maybe a new head. Something I don't need.
Can't wait to see the glow in the dark, black light or frostbite editions.
I would like to see Jor-el & Lara figures with a Planet Krypton accessory and pose them holding the planet up like in the Fortress of Solitude.
Not being needed by most is the definition of a good con exclusive. Also, that's 100% AC1K down to the trigger finger.

There was something in the press release about "exclusive to the convention floor," so that would imply they aren't planning to offer it online, but with McFarlane, who knows. I'd buy it if it was readily available, but I won't loose sleep over not having one.
Looks like Max went up and sold out already.

Maybe he’ll release an actual statue to retail. I’d definitely buy that.
