Found on FB. All of them are clear reuse, maybe minus Manhunter because I can't place the body. Not sure if it's Luthor or something weird like an Injustice fig or Bermejo Batman. I'll be getting a MH and Sportsmaster if they're not too hard to come by because those were supposed to be some sort of variants.
Only this shazam is new to me(unless he appeared in some leaked list that i don't know)
Todd is out of control. Platinums as paint variations are one thing,. But legit, not-available-otherwise characters? And army builders? It's infuriating. Most of us will never see these.
That pic's from my post haha, but aye Asian stores now have these, the new CE, Digital, Metallo, Fire and Darkseid stuff. Ordered a bunch and should get to me next week.
Reuse is what it is, I'm cool with what it is. I'm more interested in new characters so I'll take some of these types of hit.
Man.... Max Mercury and Sportsmaster are two that DCUC never got to that I really wish they had. I might not be able to resist Sportsmaster if I ever run across him.
I'm very confused as to how these are platinum variants if there aren't standard versions. Is it going to be like that single-packed Dark Knight Catwoman and Bale Batman where every case actually had one of each mixed in with a few Affleck Batmans and Bale Proto-Batmans? If so, hopefully we can buy cases from like Entertainment Earth.
I'm only speculating here, guys - but McFarlane just recently announced a Collector's Club with a special Platinum level that requires an annual $100 subscription fee. He says right in that description that this will include access to figures only available to members of this club. I'm kind of expecting that Sportsmaster, Manhunter and New 52 Reverse Flash are likely going to be part of that.... offering that as the only way to get certain figures is really the only way that he could justify the $100 annual price, I think. You can go on their site and see all the details.
I believe that DCvV Shazam and Max Mercury are both expected to be Walmart exclusives.
There was a Mattel 6" Sportsmaster in their DC Universe Young Justice line. It's what I still have in my DC display. I think that it came with a training diorama. It's not bad, but this McFarlane version looks better.
@stephenwdavis they're not, these are exclusive to bricks and mortar stores; tbh I think it's the only way they could sweeten the deal with Target and their's partnership.
Outside the US these, as far as I've been told, are simply short packed in stores and offered to retailers.
@grammat Ok, thanks! That might even be worse when it comes to actually finding them.

also up close shot of vamp shazam and max
Manhunter looks like completely new sculpt to me.
I think Manhunter is using some of Batwing.
Maybe you remove the top of his head and put the face plate

Yeah, was aware of and own that figure - but it was outside the DCUC line, in the toon supporting line and the animated likeness isn't a perfect fit, though I do have him on my DC villains shelf. Still, I'd have preferred a figure more in the actual DCUC style.

yep manhunter is indeed using the batwing buck with a new chest and head.
