I love this character! I bought the original McFarlane release and still have the Mattel one that came with Bat-Mite as well!
With that being said, I'm already burnt out on these Gold Label gimmick store exclusive repaints. I bought the first 3 from BBTS (Flash, Superman, Spawn), I bought a pair of sketch variants from EE (Superman and Batman Who Laughs), I bought glow in the dark Swamp Thing from Amazon. That's it, though - I'm out. These have become far too common and frequent. I feel for anyone who might be trying to be a completionist for this line. No thanks!

I nearly got the SDCC Joker and I'd be lying if I didn't say that part of the appeal wasn't the included blacklight. So I got this one. I want to see what kind of blacklight Todd throws in for $10 over normal retail.
And I also want it to use with my Glow in the Dark figures because I know you can supercharge GitD stuff with blacklight but I've never done it. I think I want Todd's blacklight display just to try out with my MOTU Scareglow and Super7 Toxic Avenger.
Plus I really like the colors on this Batman. I'm a sucker for fluorescent stuff. I went all in on the recent Transformers that are UV reactive (and so are their boxes but neither was advertised). This Batman is probably going to live with my Super7 Toxic Avengers.
The first Zur-En-Arrh Batman had bright yellow but everything else was dark. This is all fluorescent. I'd definitely eat up a basic Silver Age JLA in on-model fluorescent colors. Imagine a Martian Manhunter reissue of the Target version in UV reactive red, green, and blue. Or the Flashpoint Barry in reactive red and yellow. Or Knightfall Batman in that eyesearing blue and yellow that you only see in old comics in mint condition.
Just give me a Justice League so absurdly bright that they look like Roger Rabbit cartoon characters standing next to the movie versions.
Bummed it's already pre-sold out. I passed with the original release, but this variant matches the character pretty well and would've been a fun addition to the shelf for variety. Maybe I'll try again when they get 'em in stock...
Shartimus recently did a review of a couple of the EE Blacklight figures on his YouTube channel if you want to see the set-up that comes with the figure. It's not bad. Nothing that tripped my trigger - but I'm just not into that type of thing.
Mine showed up from Amazon last week, and the box in a box is a cool idea. Mine was crunched through every box, which was a special treat 🤣 The Outside Amazon box had a huge dent, and the inside box had a dent, and the next, all the way to the black McFarlane DC box.
That sounds like your driver didn't have anything to sit on and decided to use your Batmobile for his perch as he drove around. I've not noticed any service-level declines just yet but I could be speaking too soon. I'd imagine that if they get paid enough that they're comfortable enough that he'll never leave, and your particular UPS guy is prone to damaging things, then it could seem like multiple UPS guys are doing it when you might only have one guy on your route who gives no f's whatsoever.
I received my Batmobile today & strangely enough, it wasn't shipped in ANY of the excessive amount of protective boxes. Just the product, in it's retail packaging, inside a much longer Amazon box. Both boxes were pretty beat up & it looked like it had been opened & retaped, as the clear packing tape was stuck to the Batmobile box through the outer box. BUT the Batmobile & figure were fine, so whatever. Very nice upgrade over the super glossy Flash release! Sure, I'm a sucker for buying both, but I've been waiting since I was 5 years old for this!

Did Amazon give you a new ship date after last week’s delay or did it just randomly ship?
@gpmartin414 Just randomly shipped. Actually made me wonder if somebody else sent it back due to the dented box.
My Batmobile had arrived in the multiple boxes. I actually thought it was ridiculous, as I don't have that unopened collector mentality and four boxes seems like overkill.
Although I do wish when I used to order books from them that they'd take that amount of care. (I'd rather shop local anyway, but Amazon has pretty much forced me to stop buying books from them by sending them crushed every single time without fail...)
You’ve got to be kidding me with Supergirl and those red legs. That’s completely unacceptable. Yes, Todd. I am a fan of classic DC comic book characters in general, and Kara Zor-El in particular. That doesn’t mean you’re going to use me to fund your vanity projects.
@xavion2023 The thing that gets me is that painting the thighs for this costume wouldn't even be that much paint.
Yeah, the knee-jerk reaction on that Supergirl was one of excitement, but it's not passing inspection.

The figure looks fine from the waist up, but the skirt is awful. Second pic in the instagram post makes the figure look so bad.
It’s only a problem if you pull the skirt up…which you aren’t supposed to do you pervert!
