It really is a Batman line with a dash of Green Lantern, Flash, and Superman here or there.
i have no doubt we'll see a more comic classic version of darkseid sans cape and with skirt down the road as maybe a gold label release or maybe as a two-pack like with bane.

Some interesting things here.
Parallax Armor Sinestro is probably the one I will certainly grab. Shining Knight is tempting. Is World's Finest Batman based on the current run with Dan Mora art? If so, I'd probably grab it.
A GITD Batmobile? Very interesting.
I'm trying to stick to Batman-related characters through Mafex (since I'm primarily a 1/12 scale collector). I do have McF Cassie since I don't think Mafex would release her. But I have Mafex Huntress, so I don't see a need for McF's.
Not sure what the "Green Lantern Corps Green Lantern" is, but might be a pick-up.
Slash? Cool. Another possible pick-up.
I'm not sure if the Pacific Rim Otachi would be better than Neca's versions (of which I still have both). Another one I'm on the fence about. Assuming this isn't a 4" one as they've already released it.

Amazon has it listed as "currently unavailable", but I've been checking there regularly since 12pm and it wasn't even listed until just recently. So they may still have it up at some point today. And when you click on the GameStop link to Darkseid it says the page doesn't exist, and it's said that all day. So they may also have it for P.O. later.

It was listed already on Amazon. That's where I placed my order at when it first went live.
Well, now it looks like Darkseid finally went up on Amazon and sold out within minutes. I was checking every 10 minutes or so, and it finally had the "pre-order" button active. So I immediately clicked on it and got a message saying "the item you selected is no longer available". Now on the main listing page it says "currently unavailable". So I guess it went up and sold out on Amazon in less than 10 minutes.
Man, Darkseid is a much more popular figure than I thought he would be. Especially with all the complaining about the cape and such. But it looks like he sold out everywhere as fast (or faster) than Wonder Woman did.
I managed to get Darkseid from Amazon when the link had no pictures or description. I think it was up for a bit that way, but McDC pre-orders have been going fast. They or the vendors seem to have overcorrected after the deep discounts.
Also, my Knightsend Batman from Amazon needed an approval for a delay. No estimated date. Never saw him in stores.
