Does anyone know if a variant of the Our Worlds At War Superman in regular colors has been confirmed?

@blackcomicnerd taking off a cloth cape usually isn't a problem. But also in this case, it appears that it's just sitting there under the neck peg, so boild and pop should be enough.

A classic Darkseid shouldn’t be as big as that Kalibak. He isn’t that big in his first few decades. That cape is a non starter for me. Surely it can come off.

That’s not classic Darkseid, though: it’s clearly the 80s “Super Powers” redesign. Every 4th World character got redesigns for the line and comic tie-in, which got King Kirby some royalties which is AWSOME. Darkseid had one of the less extreme redesigns, but the cape, the belt, the trunks without the skirt (although that was also used elsewhere) are all telltale signs. I’m sure this is but one of the Darkseids we will get, and as someone who bought the original SP Darkseid off the rack in 1985 when I was seven, I’m crazy for this figure. I LOVE the cape.

Looks like Darkseid both has a non removable cape and a chest emblem indented into his torso. Even if you can boil and pop the head, you’d be left with a concave in his chest from where the emblem sat. Weird way to miss a slam dunk of a figure.

I’ve always liked this figure as a neo-classic Darkseid, but it will be nearly impossible to pass up the new one. Even though I hate the damn cape.

Looks like a Batman Forever Batmobile with Alfred is on the way.  Like the Tumbler, I'll have no room for this one either.  Michael Gogh Alfred would be essential, luckily the Alfred that Mattel did just before loosing the license has a great Gogh head.  Double luckily, they also made him too tall for their own line but a perfect height for McFarlane stuff, so I won't sweat this one.

They also have the Bane/Batman 2-pack for $48.99!! Of course the pre-orders are sold out on anything new except for Ambush Bug.

Why they would deeply discount pre-orders is baffling.

It's a rotating sale. So everything McFarlane Multiverse is luckily part of the sale. Just found this 1st appearance Platinum in-store. Sale priced at $16!!

Ordered Starfire and Penguin from Best Buy.  Got Blackfire, so that worked out well.  Still hoping to land the Penguin variant at some point.

Now I found Azrael armor red. First time seeing it. $16? Sure! Then I saw Aquaman Plastic Man baf which Target has backordered for a month. The sale brought it down to $17. Canceled that dumb order. Also picked up Val Zod for $17.

If anyone is curious why Jonah Hex is coming with Wade Eiling, like I was, the General was the name of Hex's horse early on in his Weird Western feature. I'm guessing this is another reuse of the DKR/Gunslinger/Witcher horse. Which is good- the reuse potential for a horse is pretty high.

Went by one target earlier today and picked up the batffleck Batman for $16 bucks from the sale. Hopefully the sale last all week long so I can pick up the red azrael and the first appearance Batman.
