I do hope that the Platinums start showing up in greater numbers, but something tells me it'll still be luck of the draw. In my neck of the woods, it's rare to find any new figure in high numbers, let alone platinum figures- there's just too many people. Even a few people I know who are unfamiliar with the line know that the platinum sticker means it's rarer or more desired, so they've started snapping them up just because. I can't remember the last platinum figure I found out here- it's only when I go halfway across the country back home, to a slightly less populated area, that I have any luck. Amazing, the difference a tiny sticker can make (yes, I know the figure itself is different too, but still). It's the same with Funko Pops- the exact same figure can be worth so much more because it has one Con sticker on it versus another. Crazy.

I will check Target and likely grab The Page Punchers.  I always love those series.  Hope we see new52 Batman soon.  There isn't much Todd stuff for me these days, but what there is is potentially pretty cool.  I doubt I ever see AzBats.

Is there a non-platinum version of TDKR Catwoman coming?

Got the Plastic Man wave from MTS yesterday, then went to Target and found the variant red Superman and John Stewart GL.

So I was able to put together the 90’s Morrison JLA, with the Rebirth Flash standing in for the Wally West Flash.

What's really cool is, you don’t need two complete sets of the Plastic Man wave to assemble 2 complete Plastic Man BAFs. You just need one full set of four and then an extra Superman for the torso and Green Lantern for the legs. Because Batman comes with both heads and the stretchy arms and Aquaman has the regular arms.

So you can get a stretchy Plas and a regular Plas from just six figures instead of eight. That way you don’t need to keep swapping out the head and arms and risk breaking something if you want to change looks.

That’s really cool that if you get every figure you get 2 different Plastic Man figures. 

Asian vendors have started getting the newest dump of stuff in; ordered an E2 Supes and FA Batman.  Wouldn't sell me a blue Supes individually but that's cool and will have them in 10 or so days.

Interestingly though was they didn't recieve any Plats which is weird.  In either case I've also ordered a loose Plastic Man from a vendor so I'm just in need of the red and blue Supes' and then all caught up.  Might splurge on Rival when he drops in price.  But none of these will make it to the UK, atleast not in the next 3 or so months so just gotta do what I've gotta.

Also unrelated to McF but did order the Fondjoy BvS Bats too; just looks too awesome not to have!

Got Wally from Walmart on Friday. I was really surprised how quick he shipped from Walmart. I really wish they would have used the Booster Gold/Blue Beetle body with some tweaks to make Wally. I don't understand McFarlane's logic in using the Rebirth body from 2020 on this figure. 

I was also able to get The Rival from Target yesterday. I was looking for the Plastic Man wave but had no luck. I politely asked an employee if he could look up the DCPI but he rudely said if it's not on the pegs we don't have it. First time I ever had that happen to me. Most of the time Target employees have no problem looking up an item for me. I could have asked another employee but I wasn't in the mood. Anyways, when I went to do self check out for The Rival, I got street dated for the 28th. The attendant said it was the second time it happened today(Sunday) so he just changed it to general item for $5! I don't know much about the character but can't beat getting a new figure for only $5!

1st time I've overpaid just to secure this Platinum Brainiac. Not confident I'll find him. That headsculpt is ultra-wicked. These look even better in-hand.

Mary was the stand out of this movie, if they were going to do a one-off (which this no doubt is), I would have been in, but McFarlane thinks girls are gross, so here we are…. I’d also be in for the whole family, but that will never happen.

I mean, it's not even the fact that girls are gross, instead of making an all new body he they just made a new head.

Not going to lie the Batman Beyond Joker/Bat thing bums me out a little because I've been meaning to sell off the completed BAF for a year now and never got around to it and now value will inevitably drop even further... womp womp

Seems like maybe not great timing on movie based figures from the Shazam! sequel several years after the fact.   I wouldn't guess this will be a hot commodity

Freddy looks great. I'd love if we eventually got Mary and the rest of the Shazamily.

At first I was surprised to see this release from a dead continuity and a movie that was not well received, but it makes more senes when you realize there was almost no money put into it.  Yes, Mary would have been preferable, but that would negate the "spend almost no money" part of it.  Freddy does look good but you have to rebuy a Shazam with two black paint spills on him.  Nah.
