I've played the EQL lottery 3 times and have yet to win. Hope springs eternal, though. And I did find the Platinum Superman in-person no problem, so I'm glad I didn't have to pay the shipping, ultimately.

It does bump up your odds every time you miss out. That honestly encourages me to participate if I'm even on the fence.
I lost every one until SDCC Knightfall Batman. I've lost every one since.
I saw in a Facebook group this morning (from an email sent by MTS customer service) that when you order a figure from MTS, you have no chance at the Platinum/Chase variants. It seems that McFarlane takes their whole stock of chase figures and uses EQL to sell them.
On the one hand you'll have to go to another retailer to have a chance at Platinum, but to be honest it's a bit relieving for me to have a place to order these and know what I'm getting. For every Super Powers Freeze there's several weird colored Abyss' or glowing Alan Scott's that I have no interest in.
Speaking of Abyss, just got him, Catman, and Riddler in the mail. Catman is a great figure. Not the biggest fan of the mesh material used for the cloth cape but it drapes very well. Abyss is an amazing sculpt. Not much in the way of paint but I'm not upset paying $30 for all unique parts. Not like he's an easy character to re-use.
I'm 1 for 2 on the EQL thing through McFarlane. I missed on the Knightfall Batman but was awarded the purchase of Dread Lantern.
Got my Batmobile today. I didn't think it would be such a huge improvement over my Flash version, but it really is. Better canopy and the matte paint makes it seem like a completely new car. Since the Batmobile has been both shiny and matte over the years, I'm actually really glad to have both. Now I just need to find a place to display them nicely!
Also, were there no trading cards included with this two-pack? I didn't see any, and I hope I didn't throw mine away by accident...
Still prefer Flash/Supergirl

Agree 100% with this statement. Had the original Batmobile, sold it, and honestly had a little buyer's remorse about the new one until I got it in hand. It's...really superb.
No trading card with mine either. Saw in a Facebook group that there are no trading cards with this set.

Thanks! Now I can stop rooting through the trash!
I'm thinking about customizing the blue beetle bug popcorn bucket( not my pictures)
To be more movie accurate by adding the pattern to the windows with some perfetated vinyl and removing the logo from the back. It's a bit small for dc multiverse figures but it will make for a good background piece. I'm going to ignore the movie specific graffiti for the sake of keeping it useable for both movie and comic displays
Got notification on my McFarlane 89 Batmobile w/ Keaton. In the review vids now the car looks a lighter black/darker gray, almost like they made the rest of the car match the faulty-toned canopy. We'll have to see how it looks in person as I intend to block out the windows or at least make them more smoke colored.
That aside, how does one sign up for this EQL thing going on w/ McFarlane Store? It sends me to their main page where basically I can request a demo, but I'm not a retailer, I just want to sign up for the dang thing!
Just got Tim Drake Robin delivered from Amazon. I didn't even get a ship notice. It just showed up. Nice looking figure, but he's just too big to be Tim Drake from the time when he wore that costume. He's just as tall, but more ripped, than Knightfall Batman. So that makes no sense. Still it's an improvement over the red suit version.
I still don't understand why McFarlane Toys pays little to no attention to scale when they design their figures.
What I'm kind of surprised that we haven't seen yet is Flashpoint Wonder Woman to complete that Target exclusive Collect-to-Build Flashpoint Cyborg. Did it get revealed or go up for pre-order and I just missed it? I have a spare Green Lantern John Stewart on that otherwise complete Cyborg CTB figure right now as a placeholder, and it looks ridiculous.
Amazon just delivered. It really is gorgeous.

Todd flies by the seat of his pants - it’s apparently served him well his whole career. He just makes what he thinks is cool and doesn’t worry about the small details.
