This is likely a wave I can get behind. The painted scales are bizarre when everything else is hyper-textured.
Less accessories for the figures itself,means more accessories for Plastic Man?
He needs some stretch hands or something
@new-batman another Stewart?
I hope it’s a different Stewart. The other ones were just repaints in the overstylized McFarlane tradition. I’d like an actually different take on the character.
I thought Blue Superman was all new but he could be the original Page Puncher body?? I liked that figure a lot, but has issues....like pretty much every McFarlan sculpt. Well will wait and see - The Task Force Series is more interesting to me anyhow.
If I had to guess, the John Green Lantern will be a “cleaner” take (IE, no extraneous seams and lines) like the recent classic Hal Jordan.
Why is Plastic Man always some kind of special, hard to get figure?
The DCUC version was a SDCC Exclusive, and now this one is a BAF.
I just hope he comes with some interchangeable parts and doesn't have a permanently stretched neck or something.

Three Jokers Batman?
This wave is everything good and bad about McFarlane all at once.
No complaints from me about character selection. They nailed the sculpt for Aquaman and the new sculpted parts for blue Superman look great. It’s a wave of classic figures that actually appear to belong together.
And yet the line seemingly still can’t decide what it wants to do in terms of look/scale. Why was Hal on the Booster Gold body while Jon Stewart is on the Kyle Rayner body with texture and sculpted boots/gloves? Why sculpt the new torso and legs for blue Supes but reuse the page puncher wrists? Of course Red Supes is going to be a chase variant and not a proper second release, which is going to make it miserable to find. Haven’t we seen enough of 3J Batman by now? That Batman is a throwaway figure when you could easily make a new color variant with the Knightfall sculpt.
The nitpicks with this wave are smaller this time, though. Outside of the stupid chase variants, if these are $25 each it’s still a solid value and I’ll happily pre order these. Really stinks that some other 90s figures like mullet Supes and Wally are going to need a lot of kitbashing to fit in the display though.
Great, so the Troika suit Batman is going to tower over all the other JLA members since that 3 Jokers Batman towers over everyone. McFarlane takes two steps forward and then two steps back. Why didn't he just use the Knightfall Batman for the Troika suit?
Two of the most boring figures possible.
Whoa, PlasticMan, you have my attention. that Aquaman looks pretty sweet though. always liked that design. I jsut hope Plasticman isnt that buff, those legs look kinda thicc.
