Other than the general head resemblance between movie and McFarlane Zods, no. But the movie costume was a glorified bathrobe, to be honest, so I don't think Todd will jump on the opportunity to make one.

Got a big box of goodies last night with Dread Lantern, Sinestro Batman, 2x Knightfall Bats and winged Blue Beetle. Only had the opportunity to open the first two so far. Lantern is such a beautifully sculpted human body I can't even contain myself. I've bought him for a specific custom but while handling the figure I had an instant urge to screw that and make a Hal Jordan instead. I guess I'll order another one in the near future for that exact purpose.

Sinestro Batman was supposed to be my Battfleck custom body and I'll do that one eventually, have too many other projects on my hands right now.

Honestly, I think the movie Zod will be in a BAF wave as those actors are easier likenesses to get than Hackman and the Batman 89 stuff seems to sell well.

I foresee Superman, Supergirl, Zod, Ursa, Non, and Nuclear Man getting made from the Cannon Pictures films.

Probably Superman, Supergirl, Ursa, Zod, Non as the BAF. Two pack of Superman and Nuclear Man with screaming head and alternate hands. Dark Superman Gold Label. Superman Returns Jor-El, for licensing reasons. (A big chunk of SR's budget went into perpetual Brando likeness rights for merch but only for that movie, hence why Hot Toys etc. do Superman Returns Jor-El but no Routh Superman.) Jor-El probably packed with a crystal podium. Maybe a Superman 78 comics based Bizarro to milk that mold one more time. Maybe Brainiac, Metallo, and Darkseid from the comic. Probably nothing else.

I'm going to predict a Batman 89 Page Punchers wave with Two Face, Robin, Catwoman, and Batman with the white eyes. The theme lets Todd dodge Pfeiffer likeness rights. Billy Dee is easy to get. The DC comic (and its sequel) by the original screenwriter sets all of these up and it's a way to cash-in, expand on Keaton popularity. The sequel introduced Harley Quinn and Scarecrow, which can get a solo release.

Outside chance of a Hackman Luthor (he appears to have signed off on the comic). Possibly a non-Nicholson Joker, running with a hallucination in the 89 comic.

My hope would be for a Keaton Batcomputer released as a McFarlane Gold Label Megafig with light-up feature. Maybe as a larger pack with a vault containing an 89 Batman figure with an empty cowl as a spare costume.

Glad to be back on the forums. And with Wordpress. Neat.

I preordered the 3 collector figures because they look awesome. They are comic accurate, and look great, so I sucked up the additional price. Hawkman and Firestorm both have a good bit of unique sculpt, but it still does feel like "charge the collectors extra because we can". I guess it's working, I bought them. But they look seriously cool so I don't really regret it.

I thought I'd be unhappy with Zero Hour Hawkman, but it looks amazing. Just a really well done figure. Wondering if I can swap the BWL Sky Tyrant's wings onto Hawkman for articulation.

One thing I am absolutely not OK with in any way, shape or form is these platinum variants. For two reasons.

First, I have absolutely no interest in getting something I didn't order. Paying $30 and getting a variant you don't want absolutely sucks. I am dreading the Abyss coming in the mail, just praying it's the normal version and not the platinum that has never shown up in a comic.

But second, and most importantly...sought after variants should just be regular figures. I'd be beside myself if classic blue/black Sinestro is a variant as opposed to a regular release. Ditto for Jason Rusch Firestorm. I can live with having to return a glowing Alan Scott or a colorful Abyss, even though it's inconvenient. But what I absolutely cannot stand is paying $30 for a collector figure then having to go on the secondary market and pay twice that for a more sought after version of the character. Platinum Freeze would look great with the classic Riddler...if it weren't so expensive.

I want to know what I'm paying for. I think that's pretty fair regardless of whether or not you like a specific variant.

Wave one: Black Adam wave

Wave two: Injustice wave

Wave three: Alternate Flash wave

Wave four: Aquaman wave

Wave five: Fighting The Frozen

That Supergirl is gorgeous. They really caught the sweet spot for modern costumes: this might be her best costume EVER. Also excited about cloth capes!!! Catman’s is so nice and I am hoping to get a big glorious cloth cape on an upcoming comic-style Batman.

Is the hush blue/gray Batman going to be sold at retail?  I don't collect the line so I haven't been keeping up.  I have 2 figures but that's a nice looking Batman.  I'm also wondering about the Keaton Batman.

wow that Supergirl is everything and more. Fantastic work, also enjoying the pivot to cloth capes. Catman’s cape was nicely done and this looks similar.

That cloth cape on Supergirl may be a deal breaker for me. I personally think cloth capes mostly look like crap on small figures. I got Catman because I'm not going to pass up Catman, but Supergirl I may be able to skip. I'll have to decide once I see more pics.

So... Most of my Amazon orders got bumped back to mid-September.

The Keaton with Batmobile arrives Wednesday.

My Target Collector Edition Superman arrives Wednesday.

My Target Anti-Monitor arrives Thursday, despite being shipped last.

My Target Superman and Tim Drake arrive Friday.

Meanwhile, I placed orders for Super7 in-stock figures on AliExpress and EE two weeks ago. It looks like the order from China is going to arrive before EE even ships anything.

I've decided to cancel my pre-order for the batmobile and figure set. I'm getting the figure in 6 pack plus my favourite version of the batmobile is the animated series one which I already own. Plus money and space are an issue.

injustcie 2 superman and brainiac

Oof...  I thought I'd be wanting that Brainiac -  but that goofy ass smirk on his face and that absolute fart of a Superman figure make this a no-fly-zone for me.
