It's really maddening! I know ALL lines have the occasional scale issue with a figure or two, but with Todd it's a good chunk of the figures. I hate that my Martian Manhunter is shorter than Aquaman, or that if I do a Batman display all the figures are different heights. I know Todd doesn't really care about things like this so he doesn't bother fixing them, and I should probably just save my breath, but it's SO frustrating!
When @dhunter333 brought up Tye Butler, seems they had someone advocating for proper scale & character selection. Too bad he's longer with the company. Their project management for this line now seems more focused on cost effectiveness with re-use. The minute details of proper scaling is overlooked. It's almost like..."you will buy what we're releasing anyways", which is true (Ben Affleck Batman).
So that explains the excessive reuse. I remember the first year or two of the line, the majority of the figures were unique bucks. Now it seems like every buck is the Three Jokers body for Batman, Infected or DKR body for Superman, and everyone else the Blue Beetle/Booster Gold body.
I wonder if Aquaman, Batman & Green Lantern are MTS only figures or available elsewhere. I might pick up the Hal Jordan figure. I know it is his current look, but also his original look. Not crazy about the repainted Batman or Aquaman. I bought a second Rebirth Aquaman & put the Barry Allen head from Flashpoint on it. I'm good with it compared to the new head sculpt.
They are not exclusives. Will be available at retailers. Wonder about the price. $25, $30, $35?!
I think and hope the $40 thing was just a one off and not just McFarlane willing to see if he can get away charging $40 for standard figures.
These figures SHOULD be $20 but I can see McFarlane charging $25 for them.

I'm going to get Aquaman with Qwsp/Quisp, but passing on the other two. It also looks like they made a minor packaging change, which I don't like. Since I don't open most of these figures I strongly prefer they keep the same consistent packaging design. It looks better displayed that way.
Just Hal for me when these go live on Amazon. Don't quite like the looks of that Bruce head. And Aquaman comes with that.... thing.
Was thinking about getting Hal but then realized this is his super classic look without the green shoulders. Guess I'll pass for now, also don't need the NFT markup scam.
The cowled head on Batman, is that new? Or is this a complete repaint of the original New 52 Batman?
The only thing new on that figure are the hands on the body and the unmasked head. The cowled head on Batman, is that new? Or is this a complete repaint of the original New 52 Batman?
Damn! I've been in meetings all morning, so I missed the preorder Hal. BBTS, EE, etc. are all "Pre-Sold Out". This is the second time I've dealt with this, the last time being the classic Wonder Woman. Looks like the listing for Hal is gone on Amazon as well, so I guess I'm SOL.
Great figures, maybe these batman headsculpts would work great with knightfall body
And with this little guy i think Mr.Mxyz... could come with a future superman

Sold out on EE too, I know they'll be back up at some point, but come tf on. Either McFarlane's a real dillhole about allocations or these buyers, with high-end demand planning software, aren't good at their jobs.

So just to confirm this Rebirth Batman is not the New 52 Court of Batman that I’ve been waiting and anticipating because I know there was some confusion with the listings. if this is it I’m gonna be pissed because that’s not a New 52 Batman and it’s not in scale.

I think it's a combination of McFarlane producing too many and the distributors ordering too many early on in the line, so they eventually decided to cut way back. After they had to clearance out so many DC Multiverse figures for under $5 each they probably cut way back on their orders. McF might have cut back on production for the same reason or in response to reduced orders. I know the year end clearance sales at all of these places had McFarlane DC figures for the deep single digits ($2, $3, $4, $5). I'm sure they lost a lot of money on those and cut way back on their orders to avoid it happening again.
The bundle and Arthur/Bruce are still available on the McFarlane site (everyone's least favorite option!), but Hal alone is sold out there also.
I missed Hal too, but maybe that's a good thing since I'd like one with green shoulders.
