Am I the only one who hates that the classic Wonder Woman towers over Superman & Batman? Yeah, yeah, I know she's an Amazon, but canonically, she is 6', while Batman is 6'2", and Superman is 6'3". I can take a bit of fudging one way or another, but I really wish Todd would do something about the utter sh!tshow that is scaling in this line.

That's one of the things that drives me crazy about the line is the scaling.

That Hal Jordan is awesome. Now we just need a redo of John Stewart and Guy Gardner.

I wonder if Aquaman, Batman & Green Lantern are MTS only figures or available elsewhere. I might pick up the Hal Jordan figure. I know it is his current look, but also his original look. Not crazy about the repainted Batman or Aquaman. I bought a second Rebirth Aquaman & put the Barry Allen head from Flashpoint on it. I'm good with it compared to the new head sculpt.

They are not exclusives. Will be available at retailers. Wonder about the price. $25, $30, $35?!

It's really maddening! I know ALL lines have the occasional scale issue with a figure or two, but with Todd it's a good chunk of the figures. I hate that my Martian Manhunter is shorter than Aquaman, or that if I do a Batman display all the figures are different heights. I know Todd doesn't really care about things like this so he doesn't bother fixing them, and I should probably just save my breath, but it's SO frustrating!

When @dhunter333 brought up Tye Butler, seems they had someone advocating for proper scale & character selection. Too bad he's longer with the company. Their project management for this line now seems more focused on cost effectiveness with re-use. The minute details of proper scaling is overlooked. It's almost like..."you will buy what we're releasing anyways", which is true (Ben Affleck Batman).

Seeing this Green Lantern really makes me regret not picking up the Target Flashpoint Flash when I had the chance. Do you guys think we might get another, true, classic looking Flash from McFarlane again?

Yeah, they'll probably release it again with more hands, but no unmasked head, and no BAF parts.

Would be nice if all figures came decked out with stuff like the Jim Gordon Batman.

@asm Interesting.  I have never 3D printed, but was interested going back 10 years ago.  It's come a long way and there is an artist on Instagram making a DCU based on the Mafex aesthetic.  It's not enough to get me in.....just yet, but we'll see.

I still think Todd is ridiculous with this digital collectible bullcrap.  But I guess people want it?  Idk, there's nothing I'm planning on buying from him, which is fine, but I just think his company has nosedived hard.  Captain Carrot looks awesome and so do Earth 2 Superman and Monitor - but the line is mostly reuse when it used to be mostly new tools. And it's often not good reuse.

Yeah, the whole “digital figure” thing really sticks in my craw on a principles level. It’s gross, and it’s worse than just a fad: it feels like a scam a la NFTs and such. Todd’s need to be seen as a “trendy business guy” often hoists him on his own petard.

Hal looks good and we may have finally gotten a non-textured body for general use.   May actually get him.

Pretty sure Hal Jordan is the same body used for Captain Atom, Animal Man, and I think like two other characters who I cant remember. Just a new head and probably ring hand.

For all the praise this line got for unique parts early in the line, it’s weird that they are reverting to reusing an (arguably) not great body with little to no additions.

Why didn’t they use that sculpt budget to make an actually decent interchangeable parts library over the last 4 years? Or if not that, at least use that budget to make the classic JLA/Justice League in a consistent scale? Instead we got 80 different Batman figures.

The Aquaman head shown really looks awkward. Did they give Page Puncher Superman some new spikey hair? Not sure I’d want a random bearded Aquaman head without the proper hook hand and green/silver outfit so this one is a definite pass.

I just grabbed a custom Bruce Wayne head that I love, so Batman is a pass too.

Hal looks like a nice figure, pending the price. I’m also not sure why they continue to use this awkwardly proportioned body, but at least the classics look somewhat consistent. Those forearms, though…

To be honest I think they botched the whole 90s. What is mentioned above plus a too tall Impulse, bulky Tim Drake, and wrong Parallax hair color. Even Bane (an incredible figure) isn’t Knightfall accurate.

I also really love my DCUC Reign of the Supermen figures. Still the best mullet Superman to date IMO.

I am fine with Todd's Azbat, Bane, and Kyle GL (even if it's the earlier lighter green one), and I can take a brush to Parallax's hair if it ever really gets to me.  Tim and Impulse are bummers.  We never even got those looks from DCUC.  If we had it wouldn't sting as much.

Love that DCUC mullet Supes.

we definitely got that look for Tim in DCUC they just messed it up

you think McFarlane is lazy and does too much re use? Here’s Mattel with repainting the OYL Robin red suit with fins and long bat cape into their 90s Tim Robin…

It’s kind of funny how these lines did Tim Drake. Mattel sculpted a OYL Tim and had a crappy repainted 90s version. McFarlane sculpted a 90s Tim and did a crappy repainted job for OYL. I took the Mattel green/red Tim and used the DC Superheroes Robin cape and belt…I guess poor Tim Drake figures are a constant without mods.

Mattel had the re-use, McFarlane has their games with pricing and platinum chase figures. There isn’t bellyaching from me when Animal Man and Red Tornado are $20-$22 with some reuse. Those crisis figures are silly, though.

I've never 3D printed anything either, though I'd like to get a 3D printer at some point. If these NFTs can be modified and 3D printed, which it looks like they are if you can import them into blender, they might not be a completely stupid. Still not clear on if the nft replaces a physical BAF part for a digital one.

They've gotta be kicking themselves for not doing what ML does at the start. So many figures have used the Blue Beetle body, and the Jon Kent Superman body, that the line is starting to feel a bit like Mattel's DCUC, because the majority of those figures seemed to all be on the exact same body.
