Got Knightfall Nightwing and Classic Superman delivered yesterday. Really digging the new Nightwing. Love the bright colors and black lines. It gives it that nice classic comic book look that I like. The head sculpt is spot on, and I really dig the ponytail, and all the extra hands. My favorite Nightwing so far. He'll look great next to Knightfall Batman.

The Superman is nice too, but it's not my favorite Supes figure. I prefer him to be a bit bulkier, like the Hush Superman. This figure makes a good younger looking Superman though. Not quite Superboy age, but more like an early twenty-something version. The articulation is really good and you can get him in a lot of cool poses. So it's a solid figure.

Bottom line, I like both figures, but Nightwing is the must have of the two.

Is the smile as unnatural and off-putting as some of the pictures present it as?  Or does it look better in-hand?

Hey gang,

A couple of questions please

First, any idea when First Appearance Batman is getting shown?

And, was there ever anything definitive said about either Az-Bats getting a repainted rerelease, or an Az-Bats 2.0 (upgraded armor)?

Thanks!

Same question but For New 52 Batman aka Court of Owls Batman

1939 Batman and nu52 Batman are supposedly the “next” wave and should be showing fairly soon. I know I’m incredibly stoked for 39 Bats: I hope he has a big cloth wing-cape.

Nothing official for AzBats, but the leaked list has a Bane v Batman two-pack on it, which could well be a rerelease of both MegaFig Bane and also likely either Knightfall Batman or AzBats. With Parallax about to be rereleased, seems very likely the same will happen for AzBats in some regard, and I also feel pretty confident the armored versions of AzBats (both blue and red, with one being an easy repaint of the other) will also be released. I mean: a Batman in crazy armor with blades and wings and pouches? That’s what Todd dreams of at night.

Thanks for the info and insight!

Has anyone attempted fo scale down the heads on the Batman and Robin movie figures?

I used to see scaled down heads (from Hot Toys dolls for instance) on Ebay. I have no idea how its done...but I'd be interested in that Ivy head if it could fit on a smaller body (6 inch scale).

I'm pretty sure they just 3D scan them with an app on their phones or some other device, upload it to a sculpting/modeling app, and 3D print the heads out in resin.

Oh cool - thanks for explaining it. I wondered how that worked. Phone apps - who knew?! LOL

I doubt they'd bother with a character like Ivy though, since she has all that hair.

Maybe someone would be brave enough...

Got my Wonder Woman via Amazon last week.  She has her issues (short neck, no chest articulation, really pale skin), but she's a rather solid figure.   I bought some textured gold wire, so I could have a lasso which holds a pose.  In fact, I already lost the gold twine she came with.

@derrabbi This is the wire I used.  For the lasso hanging from her hip, it’s just this wire.  For the lasso action pics I took two foot long sections and braided them to make it thicker and more substantive for the figure to hold.

That's a gorgeous paint job... but holy heck are those elbows an eyesore.   Like they draw the eyes to them immediately and look atrocious.     I would never, ever display this guy with straight arms.   always bent... always.

I realize I may be alone in this, but I'd like to see more animated figures in the Multiverse.   Wonder Woman at the very least.  Hawkgirl would be great too to finish the original Dini/Timm Justice League team.  A villain like Joker would be nice to pair with the Harley Quinn, who I forgot is actually a really nice figure.  I know these figures weren't met with the most love, but a Multiverse animated Wonder Woman is one of my top wants right now.

Yeah, somewhat complete sub-selections would be great in general.  I'm with you on the animated figures.  I bought the first ones going into lockdown and was surprised how much I liked them.

The rest of the animated Teen Titans would also be great.
