Looking at the Drawing Board fundraiser, it's now 100% funded and extended for a second time. They didn't come close to the $600,000 originally asking, but lowered it to $145,000. So it looks like these are coming out after all...

I guess that's one way to reach 100%!

I'm really happy about that.  There was no way it was going to hit the original goal and I really want those two vehicles.

It's funny... now that the crowd fund has "reached its goal," the numbers are continuing to climb, albeit very slowly. As usual, there are people that won't back something unless it's already fully funded. 

FINALLY saw a Black Manta at a local Walmart today just sitting on the shelf, so I quickly grabbed him and threw him in my cart.

I've got him, Ted, Booster and Guy I still need to open up.

The sad part is that's the wide release Black Manta. You couldn't get the Walmart exclusive at Walmart.

I've never seen the new wave in store, but I just got my two cases in from EE last week.  This line is great, but a little frustrating to collect.

I wonder when the crowd funded stuff will be released.  Hopefully it's not the normal year or two wait since the figures are simple repaints.

I found mine at a Walmart. Never saw one again though.

Anyone else order anything from the new Wave today that went up for pre order?  I just got Batman and The Riddler, as I only get the Bat stuff.  But I was glad they finally let out a classic Bat-Villain.  Up until now Batman Who laughs is the only Bat-Villain released in this line.

Hopefully soon Todd gets out more Batman Villains.  especially Joker, penguin, and Freeze.

I'm oddly excited for that Riddler.

I'm actually really looking forward to all of them except for the gold variants.  I think Bizarro is the one I want most, but I hope that the S on his cape is fixed.  I also hope it's backwards on his chest.  It's hard to tell, but it doesn't look like it is.

I hadn't thought about the lack of bat villains.  It's kind of surprising.  Maybe we can get an entire villain wave with a female or two.

I like seeing new characters made that were not part of the original line. I would like to see some figures re-done like Hawkman, Red Tornado or Cyborg. McFarlane should have re-done the original line for the 40th anniversary this year. With the addition of Bizarro & Riddler, that makes 5 Legion of Doom members. 8 to go including 2 female figures that probably won't get made. We need Zatanna, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Wonder Girl, Batgirl, Supergirl, Mera, Teen Titans, Outsiders, Doom Patrol, etc. 

I have mixed feelings about this wave, for purely selfish reasons.  I already have Toy Biz Riddler and custom Bizarro that looks better than this (darker colors, backwards 'S').  I actually like the black and gray variant of Batman and the classic looking Superman (I'm for anything that retires those horrible old bodies).  Still bought them all, along with the gold figures from EE.  Really hoping the rumored JSA 3-pack that was supposed to go with this wave is still happening.

The wave shown at NYCC is great. That looks like a Jason Todd Robin. Definitely getting him and a maskless Batman.
