How about he "crowdfunds" some damn female characters into the line. Other than Wonder Woman, of course.

Not looking great so far. If it fails I wonder if they will be able to figure out why. Not enough interest? Not enough advertising? Not à format people want to buy low ticket items in?

Nothing about this campaign feels like it requires crowdfunding.

No doubt in my mind that if they would have made four lesser known characters to go with these vehicles, they'd be doing a lot better with the crowd funding. As it is, I only opted to get the Batman repainted figures at the last moment, and almost passed on them.

I'd think Mera and Aqualad for the Black Manta sub set and maybe Batgirl and even Alfred for the Bat Multicraft set would really increase sales. Here's hoping people will buy them after seeing them in person at SDCC.

Either way, I'm happy to report I found Metamorpho and DKR Batman today! Really happy to finally have Rex from this line.

Does anyone know of anywhere online selling Dark Knight Batman and the Fleischer Superman? It looks like even CMDStore didn’t get them, and Targets in my area won’t.

They were both at my Target yesterday, and my Targets hadn't carried this line until now. So physical stores may be your best bet, like the release of the gold Batman.

That sucks. I live in NYC. The Targets here are small and poorly stocked. I never see any exclusives.

@gpmartin414 Yeah, I used to be in the same boat. Lived close to the Atlantic one during the time of DCUC and JLU. Really hard to find anything there!

Put an alert on this listing from Entertainment Earth in case they restock : https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/dc-super-powers-wave-8-4inch-scale-action-figure-case-of-6/mf15885a

Some folks are getting from Ali Express.  The full wave is also hitting Walmart and I would not be surprised if Ganestop gets them eventually.

Thanks for sharing the link. I’m hoping more places get them because the price will go down on eBay eventually.

Wonder why they were included in the cases going to online retailers for the most part.

Are you in the US?  I know folks here in the States have been finding them at Target and Wal-Mart.

I completely forgot about the crowdfunding project. Wonder if he considered it a low-risk temperature check on crowdfunding. Nothing in this set jumps out at me as needed, unfortunately, but I agree with the post above about less marquee characters - if this was a way to fund figures that might otherwise never get made I'd absolutely throw some money at it.

The Batmobile in this line is one of my favorite buys from McFarlane ever because it's so nostalgic but display space being what it is, I'm less likely to buy vehicles these days. A wave of B- and C-listers though, take my money as fast as you can!

I stopped by the local Target today and they had Booster Gold, Metamorpho, Guy Gardner, DKR Batman & Superman. No Black Manta.

Looking bleak for the crowd funding campaign. I'd like that Bat Multicraft, so I hope they just make it anyway.

Just got the latest wave! Really love the Guy Gardner, Booster Gold, and Metamorpho figures. Clearly, the line has some JLI inspiration in the last few waves.

I am getting bored of the constant Batman and Superman variants.

I also wish the line would do more slight updates of the classic figures from the original line. I was just being born when the original line came out so don’t have any of them (but did collect the similar DC Superheroes line from around ‘89-‘90). They have done a decent job of getting out classic versions of the core heroes like Batman, Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern. Not sure I’d say either of the Wonder Womans are classic.

It’d be great to get villains like Joker, Lex, and Darkseid, along with heroes like Cyborg, Robin, Hawkman, and Firestorm.
