I wonder what gets actually released in December. Just checked my AmiAmi account, and apparently seven Mafex figures (DC: Hush Riddler, Hush Scarecrow, Reign of Supermen Super Boy, DCEU Black Adam; Marvel: comic stealth Iron Man, No Way Home Tobey Spider-Man, and MCU Black Panther) are all scheduled for December still. Delays are starting to pile up again for Mafex. 

I'm sure all seven won't come up, but I would think we're headed for a month sometime in the near future where they do four releases.

Had no internet the last few days but Eradicator arrived on Tuesday and he's great! Really excited for Superboy to complete the replacement Supermen!

I got HUSH Catwoman on eBay for a decent price.  She's great except for one disappointment:  Her goggles-up head won't click onto the peg like the other two do. It LOOKS just like the others but there must be some defect in the cut of the socket.  I guess I'm SOL on that one....I had plans for that specific head.  Bummer.....

I would keep an eye out in case she gets a reissue (I can't recall her having one previously but Mafex seem to be random with who they reissue and when)

Just a heads up - Ami Ami have emailed me to see that - Riddler, Scarecrow and Superboy have all been moved back to January 2025

Catwoman got a reissue in October 2023, which is when I picked mine up.

BBTS got their shipment of The Eradicator in.

MAFEX really nailed the James Brown glasses on Eradicator

My Eradicator came in a couple days ago, I finally got around to opening him up. Not much to say on the body/articulation, it's what we've come to expect from the recent Mafex releases (as in, pretty darn good!). 

My only qualms are a few of the design choices they went with on him. These are probably nit-picky, but...

• They continue to use the Jim Lee 'S' design from Hush on every "super" character. On the chest as well as the cape. I really wish they would use story-specific 'S' designs if they're going to issue characters that are from specific stories. Maybe most don't notice, but the bottom part of the 'S' is shortened a bit on Lee's design and 90's Superman didn't look like that. 

• In addition to that, the 'S' on this version of Eradicator is supposed to be a giant...shield? Plate? In the comics, his cape is attached to it at the corners but it's not part of his outfit, it was a (large) separate piece that he wore over the top of his outfit. It would have been cool to see Mafex at least make the 'S' a raised piece. Eradicator would go back to the Fortress and bask in the energy the robots siphoned off of the healing Matrix, and he would do so while wearing the blue and black outfit without the 'S' and cape on his costume. Sometimes they showed him taking it off. 

• On both head sculpts, Eradicator has whited-out eyes. In the comics this figure is based on, he had regular blue eyes like Superman. They were sensitive to light, hence the visor, but he still had regular old eyes under there. Of the 4 Supermen, he was intended to look like the real Superman had come back and thrown on some yellow shades...the figure makes him look a bit zombie-ish. He eventually had all red eyes after his fight with Cyborg Superman, but that's a different thing altogether. 

I know, I know..."nerds and their toys"...but as good as this figure is, it falls just short of being great due to some design decisions. They did the same thing with the others in this line as well, all of them have the wrong 'S' and Cyborg Superman is missing the black shading to his 'S'. Great figures, all, and I'm happy to have them...I just wish $100 imports would pay just a teeny tiny bit more attention to the little details. I'd be fine with Eradicator having white eyes on one sculpt if the other one was just a Superman head with goggles like it's supposed to be.

not just you.  I know the figures are beautiful, but the "S" shield is all wrong.  Superman is such a simple look that it stands out to me and is not 90s at all.  Steel was done correctly if I remember.  For that price it's a problem.

Picked up Absolute Superman today, will read later.  Art looks fantastic.  I dig what Mafex showed in July, but would really be interested in them attacking Capullo stuff or this new Absolute line.
