Same.  I didn't think I needed this Bats, but he's just too good to pass up.

I'm really left puzzled by the criticisms on this guy in the thread.  The two Mafex Hush Batmans were the best-ever Batmans in twelfth scale, and now I'm not sure that's true anymore--it might be this guy.  Still deciding.

I got Batman last week. The lighter cape is a huge balance improvement. Barring a few disappointments in the accessory department, I think he's probably better than the Hush figures. While the second cape provides extra value, I wish we had gotten a set of batarangs instead.

My biggest nitpick is with the teeth-gritted, long-eared head. After re-reading Long Halloween last year, I fell in love with the long-eared design. I knew I'd display Batman with that head even though I prefer him to be stoic. I may eventually wind up with a third-party head that gives me the best of both worlds.

I'm a black-and-gray Batman guy, but I'll admit that the blue pops on the shelf.

And I spent about the same for Batman from AmiAmi. That includes shipping.

Shipping from most of the Japanese retailers to America is around $20 to $30 per figure, and usually much less if you ship 3+ in one go.

Each retailer has different policies when you ship more items.  HobbyLink Japan seems to have slightly higher retail prices than the other stores, but that gets offset if you order a bunch of stuff in one shipment because the shipping price doesn't seem to go up much when you add more items.  AmiAmi and Hobby Search shipping prices go up $5 to $10 for every item you add to a shipment.

Medicom sells non-Marvel figures through their own web site, but shipping to America is absolutely outrageous.  I ordered Superman Hush from them when he first released, but for the past year or two shipping has been about as much as the figure itself.  I asked them why they charge more for international shipping than all other Japanese retailers and they just ignored the question by responding "we don't control shipping prices."

Got Crusader Batman today. My first Mafex, and I do see the appeal. I wish he didn't have the Jim Lee-style human ears visible under the cowl, but otherwise he's pretty great. Really impressed by the dynamic poses for the hands, oddly enough, as I don't usually care about extra hand options. Haven't played with him too much yet, but the pointed shoulders and Kelley Jones head go great together.
