Received the Knight Crusader Batman yesterday. Honestly, pics/videos do not do it justice. Even the long-eared head sculpt (which i was not originally a fan of) looks great, particularly paired with the 'pointy' cape. This is a must-have, IMO.
Agreed - mine arrived yesterday and I've been loving it - I think too much has been made of the lack of an ab-crunch -I haven't had any issues with the figure personally
I think I might wind up replacing the cape on this Batman. I was precious about my Hush Batman figures, but with multiple cowls, I don't feel as bad replacing this one. The cape is just too heavy for the figure IMO.
I've always complained that the original Hush figure was crotch-forward, but I think that's a result of having to counterbalance the weight of the cape.

I guess I'm waiting until the end of the month to ship at HLJ. Got Winter Soldier, Bo-Katan, and Batman. Seems like Ahsoka, Bane, and a couple of Wick's will be joining them. With all those Mafex figures in my private warehouse it's gonna feel like Christmas when I get them.

Same, I can't put him down, he's just so fun in hand. I would have said I was Team Black & Grey before today but this guy pops so damn hard, I love it. Kinda makes me want an Aparo Joker now, darn it.
Knightfall bats appears to be pretty much sold out at the Japanese retailers now.
I checked out at Hobby Search early this morning, but my bank yet again declined the purchase for the 5th or 6th time in the past year, Hobby Search cancelled the order, and now he's sold out there. This auto-cancelling from a place I've bought from a dozen times before has never been more irritating than this shit today. 😠 He would have been $85 shipped, but now I guess it's BBTS for $25 more. 🙄

He is great though, probably my favourite figure I've picked up in a good long while.
Correction--HLJ still has Bats. Just got an order in. Eight other Japanese retailers I checked were out. Pretty convenient since I can group Bane, Ahsoka, Cap, Phoenix, and John Wick with him since Kaiju Daddy confirmed they're all shipping in June and July.
I told myself I wasn't going to be tempted by this latest expensive Batman figure. That was a lie.

Yeah, get your Bane pre-order in sooner rather than later. The MAFEX figure looks like easily the best figure the character has ever had. He's a popular Batman foe. He'll be gone quick.
This is the Batman figure to get. With all of these swappable parts, Mafex has managed to condense this figure into a "One and done" release. So no matter what version of this bat suit you prefer, be it Bronze age or Post Crisis-Knightfall, the Knight Crusader figure can be displayed in any and all of those configurations. My only gripes are that I wish it came with swapable battle damaged parts, maybe one additional headsculpt with a 5 O'Clock shadow and a larger array of gadgets. That would have taken it over the top for me. But knowing Medicom, I'm sure they're saving a deluxe version for their medicom store exclusives or something. I also wouldn't be the least bit surprised if they did a "Comic Paint" cel shaded variant with this release down the road.

Mafex should be paying D commission because his review and pics convinced me to get this when I said I was good with the black and blue Hush versions of Batman.
Hobby Search got more of Bats in stock yesterday so he's not quite gone yet.
The Medicom site also has him in stock, but for the past year shipping to the US from there costs as much as the figure so that's not an option from my country.
