Hush Batman is the best Batman ever made.  However plenty of people still didn't like it due to the very large cape.  It's basically a second figure you have to pose separately but in conjunction with however you pose Batman, and many people don't like the challenge of figuring out what to do with the cape in a pose.

That's a challenge I personally love.  I saw a review that had several action poses with Batman and various other figures, each time the cape looked different, it looked like there was nothing it couldn't do.  That's when I pulled the trigger.

For anyone still after Cyborg Superman and Steel - both are currently 62.99 (40% off) on BBTS

That stings because I ordered both at full price.  They're both incredible figures, but that 40% off would have been nice.  Do I wait on Superboy and Eradicator now?

Managed a cheap (and not KO) Harley for another hyena! Sorry, "Bruce," but it's "Bud & Lou" for me!

(Now, who needs an unremoved-from-the-plastic-tray hyena-less BoP Harley Quinn? lol)

I wouldn’t be too hurt by it.  Mafex isn’t Hasbro.  You wait around for a Mafex sale, and there’s a high chance you’ll lose out on a figure.  Heck, sometimes when you miss out on a preorder you are SOL for a retail price.

I snagged both!  I think they're back to full price now.  I have them on the way along with the HUSH Batman rerelease but no boxes yet.  I will go from 0 Mafex to 3 Mafex figures in a couple days 🙂   Kinda rough timing since a Transformers HasLab ends in 5 weeks but I had my eyes on these for a while and it was probably now or never.  Then I can decide if I want to continue once I get them in hand and play around with them.

Either way I guarantee I will be getting Loose Collector figures this year as well so I am dipping into high end 6 inch scale!  Very stoked, but gotta make some tough choices.

Congrats! Mafex are some of my fave current DC figures - they are pricier but well worth it IMO 🙂

Yep just got Batman today!!  Beautiful paint job and captures Jim Lee quite well.  I would like a slightly beefier version, but this is a great piece without a doubt.  I actually think I will like Cyborg Superman and Steel best.

Made some modifications to Poison Ivy, used real miniature doll house ivy, gave her movie Mystique's feet and shaved down her cankles and did some repainting.

Looks nice, DX. Much more ornate (and therefore recognizable) than the original release.

I've seen a reissue of Blue Hush Batman - is this an updated figure like how the recent Black & Gray one was updated?

Hey gang, sorry for the non-sequitur, but I was wondering if anyone has comparison pics of Mafex Dark Knight Returns Superman with Marvel Legends? Thanks!

From left to right are Mafex Superman Hush, Legends Jean Grey '97, Mafex DKR Superman, Legends animated Cyclops, and Legends Black Knight.
