I'm just looking forward to when we can all whinge and squabble about Bane.

For those who aren’t aware of how Bane first looked without venom people will say he’s too small. 🙂

I am excited for this one. Been wanting a good, pre-venom Bane for so long.

Bane is definitely my most-anticipated figure of 2024. Just a matter of months away now.

Just looking at the Mafex Poison Ivy box and noticed something I hadn't before - by the DC logo they have added an image of a leaf and chemical beaker

I wonder if this will be a new thing going forward (like a question mark for Riddler or a scythe for Scarecrow)

Ivy

And for comparison the other most recent release of Mafex Nightwing (who just had the DC logo like the others)

Looking forward to Hush Scarecrow. The only other MAFEX figure I have is the Begins Scarecrow, and I quite like him (have one masked and one unmasked). I'm sorta happy that Hush Scarecrow didn't come with more accessories so I don't feel as compelled to get multiple. Then again, he didn't really use much, if anything, in his short appearance in the comic, unless they wanted to throw in his motorcycle (or the scythe he uses in the animated movie). At the price point, he's a tough sell without more than a few extra heads and hands, but if he ever went on sale (which MAFEX don't seem to do that often), I'd probably snag a second.

Personally I don't think they would do a bike with him as Huntress didn't include one (although it would be cool) but I hope he does include more than just the heads/hands for the price point even if its just a scythe

Ah......BBTS had blue and grey Hush Batman back up for preorder yesterday (for Feb release) but I see he's gone again.  I keep sleeping on this guy.  I know I'm going to end up regretting it.

I have mixed feelings about Hush Batman. This is a quick ranking of the MAFEX figures I own:

  1. Magneto
  2. Superman (Hush)
  3. Storm
  4. Nightwing
  5. Gambit
  6. Catwoman (Hush)
  7. Spider-Man (classic recolor)
  8. T2 T-800
  9. UXF Wolverine
  10. Harley Quinn (Hush)
  11. Poison Ivy
  12. Batman (Hush)
  13. Jean Grey
  14. Joker (Hush)
  15. UXF Deadpool

For me, the list falls off after Harley.

It's probably the best Batman figure ever made, but I'm still not sure it's a great toy. The Jim Lee art makes for a wonderful placeholder. It's an iconic-looking Batman even if it isn't a perfect action figure.

For some reason the Knightfall Batman looks off to me and I can't figure out why.

I had a question about the Mafex The Batman 2022 figure. I received mine a week or two ago but the box had been opened. The bottom tape had been cut and replaced and the flair accessory was loose in the box. I'm a little OCD about these figures and only buy new. I purchased it from amiami and reached out about it. They weren't any help so I was curious if this is the result of the recall when it was first released to fix the copyright?

Finally got Poison Ivy in yesterday.  Love her!  ALL joints are tight, great QC.  The arm and leg ivy slides off a lot less than I thought it would and is pretty manageable.  Articulation is great, although like all Mafex females she doesn't have enough elbow and knee range.  Luckily it's Ivy so she doesn't need it like Catwoman and Harley did.

Definitely one of the most attractive Mafex female figures up there with Hathaway Catwoman 2.0, Psylocke, and Storm.  Can't think of anything I'd want them to improve about her.  She's great, and I look forward to finding some sensual poses for her on the shelf.

I never got the DCUC DOS Superboy, so he was an immediate preorder for me.
