I picked up the new Batman 89 and Forever figures that they just released. They're a bit McFarlane like insofar as the articulation points seem to have been secondary (after the sculpt, which is fine, but other lines give higher priority to articulation). The Forever figure has a stupidly loose wrist joint. The capes are lovely, and the likenesses are also spot on. They are nice figures, but I'm not sure I'd say that they are worth double the price of a McFarlane figure (but then if they are providing unique sculpts then possibly).

Does anyone know if the quality from this company has gotten any better?  I have their Scrooge McDuck and nephews figures and they look great, but are kind of garbage toys.  I also had the Dark Knight Returns 2 pack, but returned it since Batman had a broken leg when I opened it.

I haven't purchased a ton of things from them, but here are my thoughts on them (I don't know the numbers, like "DAH-054" or whatever, so I'll just call them what they are):

Their 1.0 Batman 89 and their 1.0 comic Superman are both really, really bad for a multitude of reasons. Stay away from both of those (their 89 Joker was fantastic, though).

They seemed to learn a ton of lessons from their earlier stuff, at least as far as DC is concerned, because their Keaton Batman Returns is really, really good. My only complaint is with the sculpt in the crotch region, the way the legs plug in looks a little weird. But, it has a good likeness and the joints are stiff in the best way. Good articulation, nothing like a Yamaguchi or anything, but really solid.

The Keaton Batman (modern suit) from The Flash movie is one of my favorite figures in my collection. Looks like a small Hot Toy, but with articulation. My only nitpick is the floating belt. Great, great figure.

Their New 52 Darkseid is great. Heavy, chunky figure. The light up eyes aren't as bright as I would like, and it's a pain in the ass to turn them on/off, but otherwise a great figure with a really badass alternate head sculpt with Omega Beams coming out. Great figure.

I don't have my hands on them yet, but the new Batman movie figures seem to be getting really good reviews on Facebook, from sculpts to articulation.

I would hazard a guess and say that BK has worked out the kinks on these things, at least as far as the plastic quality and joints go. They aren't as articulated as some other lines, but I think they are really nice and I like the size of them quite a bit. Also, the newer ones aren't $100+ like their older offerings were, it seems like the newer ones are coming in around the $45-$55 range or so (except for the bigger ones, like Darkseid). So that's been really nice as well.

Not sure if that's helpful, but it's all I got. I like their newer offerings...I had sworn them off after my first several purchases, but I had to jump when they did Batman Returns because nobody else was doing that at that time. I'm glad I did because it's been pretty great.

@therealsmallville Thanks, that was super helpful.  I think I'll end up with the new GL and Batman.  I don't need my toys to be crazy posable, but I don't want them to break or have floppy joints.

What size are these figures? I can't seem to find it on the new Justice League pre-orders?

BK's DAH line tend to run ~8 inches or so. About 1 scale up from whatever McFarlane is considered.

Strange, after BigBad sent that email yesterday regarding potentially higher prices, their promotional email lists these each at $48.99. EntEarth had these at 54.99 each.
