Got the latest wave this week (Nightwing, Alfred, Bookworm and Space Batman - had no interest in wax Robin)

  • Bookworm is good and its great to get another classic villain (plus Clock King is due in the next wave)
  • Really like Alfred, especially in the Wayne Manor library set - and McFarlane - please give us a civilian Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson already! (they clearly have the actor rights given they have done an unmasked Batman & Robin)
  • Nightwing is fun - love the 70's design from the Batman '66 meeting Wonder Woman '77 crossover
  • Space Batman is a pretty good Batman variant - honestly it looks like it could be turned into a '66 Batman Beyond

Does anyone know if Aquaman and Green Lantern have appeared in the comic? I'm curious if the could be included in a future wave.

I stopped in my local Gamestop today to check out the figures. They've been getting new figures almost everyday, like one a day. I noticed Alfred on the rack behind another figure, but it looked off. I picked it up to get a better look and it was the platinum black & version. It wasn't something I had to have but since I found it, I bought it.

In case anyone is curious, the cases of Wave 10 (Alfred Wave) and Wave 11 (Clock King Wave) at Entertainment Earth do contain the Platinum of Alfred and Clock King. I bought both cases along with the Batman vs Superman Wave (which also has both Platinums) as a big buy during Black Friday but did save 53 dollars for spending over 300. Even though the listing for Wave 10 doesn’t say the Alfred Platinum is in the case, it is indeed in there plus one each of the entire Wave.

Got Clock King in the mail the other day. He's a nice one, even if he doesn't come with anything. This is a line that I've, at least so far, been keeping carded, so not the biggest deal. Saw the rest of the wave at a LCS, and the only one I'm really tempted by is Joker. I like the original one better, but I watched the 66 movie enough times growing up- and always found the dehydrated world leaders wonderfully ridiculous- that I'd consider picking it up, if only to support the line and raise the likelihood of more characters.

I'm still hoping for a Lee Meriwether version of Catwoman both to complete the trio of Catwomen and the movie villains

We need a masked Catwoman that I can use for the movie villains - at this scale I doubt a Meriwether sculpt will look that much different than the Newmar, along with a masked Penguin. There are a few badguy variants left I would buy if they get to them - some masked/unmasked, Wallach Mr Freeze, Astin Riddler, suit Riddler.

I got the red/orange Joker, I like it and the accessory is pretty cool.

Main remaining wants are Bruce and Dick (civilian) plus Mad Hatter and Shame.

Has there been any news about wave 12? Do folks think there will be one? If so, any guess on when the figures will be announced? I'm hoping for Mad Hatter and maybe Flash, Aquaman, and Green Lantern to go with Superman and Wonder Woman.

@bills-all-day I watched a video by All Things 80's who said he heard from a reliable source (his words) that wave 12 is going to be a wave based on the Super Friends cartoon

Personally I hope this is wrong and a Super Powers wave would be its own thing (especially since there are still so many Batman '66 figures from the TV show and comics still to be made)

@jag2045 The leak for McF back in November (toynewsi.com/14-55681) mentioned SuperFriends Sinestro as the only Retro listed, but I was hoping that was maybe a one off, not indicative of the whole wave.

I can why Todd would want to vary the retro line, given what is left for Batman 66 is getting more obscure.

There is a whole wave, with chases, on the rumor lists:

DC RETRO 6INCH - SUPER FRIENDS
BATMAN
BATMAN (UNIVERSE OF EVIL)(CHASE)
GREEN LANTERN
LEX LUTHOR
SINESTRO
RIDDLER (CHASE)

@jag2045 @scottg10 Thanks for the info. I didn't think the retro figures would be considered part of the Batman 66 line. Although, I'm interested in some of those figures, I'm hoping we get at least a couple more waves of Batman figures to get some more 60s style villains. The lines obviously getting to the more obscure characters, but it seems like interest in still pretty high, at least based on bbts preorder selling out.

I'm not familiar with the comic. Do Poison Ivy and Bane appear in it? Generally, I'm more interested in villains from the show, but the figures from the comics have been fun. I would buy some more comic villains, too.

Yes Poison Ivy & Bane do appear in the '66 comic, as does Harley Quinn and Killer Croc

Honestly they could do a whole wave of just the '66 comic villains without having to devote a wave to Super Friends (nothing against the show, its just - why not make it its own thing, why make it part of Batman '66 when they aren't related beyond Adam West & Burt Ward doing to voices!)

  • Poison Ivy
  • Bane
  • Killer Croc
  • Poison Ivy
  • Ras Al Ghul (Batman '66 meets Wonder Woman '77)
  • Talia (Batman '66 meets Wonder Woman '77)
