I was worried these were just going to be repaints in the cartoon's style, but these are perfect! Definitely getting the whole line!

I was surprised they added as much new sculpting to match the cartoon. Not sure I need them but I ordered Gordon just to have an option - even if not a great option.

I wish we knew if Todd plans, or even can at this point with the license, cycle back to the TV show.

Not really liking Batmites design, prefer more realistic than cartoon-y BUT ill most likely get him 😝 

These look great. Very little lately has moved me to PO. These are different and represent a period in my Batman education that has never previously been covered. Too young to remember Batman 66 first time around, re-runs yes of course. The Cartoon was amazing to my young eyes and a show that I dearly loved. Great to see the show receiving some attention, and indeed new sculpts not just repainted 66 Figures.

Agreed. Although looking closer, I'm noticing Adam West's belt on Batman which is a bummer. But the head sculpts are fantastic. I went ahead and pre-ordered this set via Entertainment Earth to get free shipping, and I don't pre-order much anymore.

I'm not buying much in McFarlane's main line (aside from on sale figures here and there), but these sub-lines are right up my alley. Between this, new offerings in Batman: The Animated Series, Super Powers, and weird self-contained waves like Batman & Robin, I'm really excited for new McFarlane announcements all the sudden!

I really hope the 1943 and 1949 serials are next!

I always thought the filmation designs had a 50's aesthetic, particularly The Joker-Very Dick Sprang. Batman and Robin are pure Bronze age (bummer about Batmans belt). I am actually hoping for some of the odd ball villains-Moon man etc. The show was a lot of fun, had a scooby doo vibe that was perfect for kids.
