The Walking Dead. If you collect the toys, you know what to expect here. But there are a few surprises coming…
New pictures of The Walking Dead TV Series 7 have popped up and while half of the wave is rehashes, it’s shaping up to be a pretty good wave. Michonne and Carl both look good in their updated clothes. Especially Carl. While I liked his first figure this new one is so much better. But why just a flashlight again? Guns are bad, okay kids? Michonne didn’t need a re-do as bad but this works at keeping the most popular characters on the shelves.
Gareth is welcome. I know the deal, prototype paint is always better, but the likeness here is great.
And then there’s the Mud Zombie. He’s a little more nasty than I remember him being but he will definitely do.
TV Series 7.5 will contain a plaid shirt Rick. I can only guess this will be a Walgreen’s type deal like with previous Flashback figures. But I love me some plaid painted toy and I hope it comes out nice on the final figure. Even better, maybe the paint on the head is better so we can pop it onto the Series 6 Rick for hopefully a closer resemblance.
Finally,TV Series 8. McFarlane is dropping teasers and even an initial sculpt, and it’s none other than Dale and Rosita. Rosita is fairly new and wasn’t high on my personal wishlist yet but I’ll take her. Dale, on the other hand, I NEED. I hope this opens the door for more memorable yet dead characters. You know who I’m talking about.
