I’m usually a 1:12 scale kinda guy, but these building sets have sucked me in.
Maybe it’s because of all those green army men I fiddled with as a kid but these Walking Dead Building sets are tickling my fancy. You remember green army men. My brother and I would set up our separate groups and then throw single soldiers at the other’s armies. I would love to do this with humans and walkers! We just need “Bucket of Zombies” to better round out the hordes.

Hey folks, I’ve gotten word that our first shipments are starting to arrive in Toys “R” Us stores at this very moment! To begin with, their stores will only be get a case per store,and each case only has FOUR boxes of the Prison Tower and Gate. (MORE BOXES are coming for the holidays) but if you want to be one of the FIRST to get your hands on this set, and don’t like the holiday shopping rush, then if you have an interest in this item and you see it in the next few days…grab it. Because the stores won’t get their next shipment until aoround Black Friday. I already know from the other sets (Daryl and his Chopper and The Governor’s Room) that the first couple weeks can be hard to find a new item.
For those of you who can’t make it to a Toys “R” Us store, the Prison Tower and Gate should be online SOON!!
Below is a giant build we did using a bunch of Towers and Fencing/Gates with a gob of our single pack figures. So, no, this ISN’T an actual TV scene from the The Walking Dead where walkers overrun the prison…. this is our TOY BUILDING SETS.
Here’s a quick tip for those of you who are looking to build epic scenes like this one…. the ‘W’ on the blind bags = WALKERS and the ‘H’ = HUMANS.
