Oh yeah. After everyone saying it couldn’t happen, it’s happening. The NECA 8-Bit Batman is getting released in the original movie colors. Joy of joys!
That’s right, the figure comes with the Diamond Luxe Edition of the 1989 Batman release on Blu-Ray. Or, since I’m way more interested in the figure, the movie is the bonus pack-in. NECA announced the news earlier about the brand spanking new WB eBay store preselling it and there was such a rush to buy the set that eBay shut down the account due to perceived fraud. Good job, plastic crackheads, we broke an eBay account! But it’s back up and running now, so go get it!

This makes me so very happy. I was going to buy a second 8-bit version to convert and now I don’t have to. And don’t get me wrong. I do really, really dig the 8-bit version and will have both in the display. Here’s my video review for those interested.
