It looks as if the Target exclusive Star Wars Black Series Imperial Shadow Squadron set has hit Taiwan and, the Internet being what it is, it is already going for fairly high prices on eBay. But that’s the nature of first appearances of soon-to-be-released toys. I have to say, I’m infatuated with this set. Yeah, at first glance it seems to be just a Sandtrooper, a Biker Scout, and a Speeder Bike painted black, but there is just something about that combo that pleases me. What I’m just noticing is that the suits under the armor aren’t straight black but a bluish grayish color and there are little bits of white accents on the helmets. I missed that in the promo pictures from SDCC ’14 and it makes it even more of a must have for me. They aren’t just dipped in black paint! Plus the Imperial logos on the Speeder are just spiffy. Now give me a regular Stormtrooper too!
