Mattel wraps up their week of comic-con reveals with a Min-Masters reveal!
Masters of the Universe® Classics Mini He-Man® & Skeletor® Figures
Great things come in small packages! At long last, the fan demanded mini versions of He-Man® and Skeletor®… in a foldout mini Castle Grayskull® diorama package! Each figure has six points of articulation at the arms, legs, waist and neck, and comes with snap-on accessories such as a power sword, shield and havoc staff. He-Man® features a shield with traditional j-hook, allowing it to be held out in front instead of clipped onto his arm!
This product will be available for pre-order at MattyCollector.com on June 4, 2013, to be picked up at San Diego Comic-Con (details to come). It will also be available for purchase at the show, then at MattyCollector.com on August 5, 2013.
Back to the Future™ Hover Board
There’s good news for anyone still looking for this ultimate Back to the Future™ item… the last remaining stock will be available at 2013 San Diego Comic-Con! Developed in conjunction with and fully sanctioned by Universal Studios, this 1:1 scale model includes authentic “whooshing” sounds sampled directly from the original films and a deco featuring Mattel logos, just like in the films! (Please note: this item does not include the exclusive mini-Hover Board.)

I’m so excited to hear that the mini-masters teased a couple of years back are finally going to start coming out! Hopefully Mattel is taking this opportunity to launch this new MOTU style figure and we get a full line-up in the future. I’m not sure why they call out the ‘traditional j-hook’ on He-Man’s shield. Is that something fans have asked for? I can’t wait for these. The hoverboard is kind of a surprise to see again.
