Nothing Earth-shattering here, just an updated pic of the San Diego Comic Con exclusive Star Wars Black Series retro carded Kenner Boba Fett…on card. But it makes me more excited about maybe hopefully getting one at some point!
For reference, here’s the promo pic we got back at Star Wars Celebration in April.
We kind of knew it was a mock up, what with no tray holding the figure or weapons from flopping all around inside the bubble. No good.
The updated pic features the tray and some other changes.
Most obvious is the removal of the warning at the bottom, but then I started thinking “Man, the colors look really blown out.” I think it’s been changed to more of a foil look, like the Celebration exclusive Pilot Luke, Obi-Wan, and Maul. It kind of differentiates them from the standard vintage carded figures.
And I’m okay with that. If I’m correct, that is. It may just be harsher light. Either way, I look forward to fighting all of you attending SDCC for a chance to even get in line to buy this.
