This week’s featured custom is StrangePlanet’s Black Widow!
I love to see customizers take a figure that I was perfectly pleased with and transform it into something even better. I’m the kind of collector who will leave a figure be if it gets pretty close to the mark, but I have great respect for people who want to tweak already good figures like the Hasbro Marvel Legends Black Widow.
StrangePlanet swapped a lot of parts between a revoltech Yoko figure and the Hasbro Widow. The swap gives her a more hourglass figure and thicker thighs that fits more of my perception of the character informed by reading old avengers comics. He’s added swappable heads and hands as well for a wide variety of looks and poses. All of these mods look pretty seamless and factory fresh.
