Another Spider-Man movie means more new toys, but it almost feels like backtracking since we didn’t get any import Spideys for Captain America: Civil War. We got a nice Legends figure but nothing from overseas. It seems as though they are going to make up for that.
As much as I hate mixing company news I’ll justify it as being the same property. Also, another post with just a tease image and no actual action figure seems clickbaity so even though it’s going to bug me for the rest of the day I’m going to do it. Bandai put up a “coming soon” image of the Spider-Man: Homecoming logo on their Marvel S.H. Figuarts page.
With that out of the way, here’s the MAFEX Spider-Man!
It seems a little…jointy…but I have a feeling that the articulation needs to be that way to pull off some of the poses below.
The figure comes with several hands and three heads. Unmasked, masked eyes wide, and masked eyed narrow.
.It also seems to come with a web strand that loops onto the wrist.
And even a mask that can be held for when the unmasked Peter head is being used.
I haven’t went into the usual MAFEX spiel because everyone has heard it by now. Let’s hope this continues the seemingly improving track record. But Spidey has a MSRP of about $60 and is set to release in October 2017.
