When I saw the pics of the Playmates Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/WWE mashups from New York Comic Con, I knew I’d need one. I can’t help it, I love TMNT and I love wrestling. I just didn’t know which one to get, given that my all-time favorite wrestler is Sting and the best turtle is Donatello, so it was either the Sting/Raphael or Undertaker/Donatello. Playmates made that decision for me.
When Playmates contacted me about reviewing one of these I was happy. I wouldn’t have to make a decision on my own, which drives my wife crazy when we’re standing in the toy aisle. Then when it arrived I was glad to see that familiar purple bandana. It’s like they knew! But honestly, I didn’t think I would like the figure as much as I do. It’s nothing groundbreaking when it comes to engineering or sculpt but the gimmick got me. Completely.
