We featured one image yesterday, but now the full promotional package is available for the Figma Kogure from Seibu Keisatsu. He comes with more accessories than we thought and is cheaper. Win-win!
I am absolutely obsessed with this figure and I don’t know why. It’s a dude in a suit. But it is just so WGN cool that I am drawn to it. Hell, I already pre-ordered it. I want this figure on the shelf just to slap around all my other figures and then tell them he loves them like sons and daughters. Now get out there and fight the good fight!
Yesterday I said that there were two heads but I was just going off of older show appearances of the figure, nothing official. Now that Good Smile has posted info I can now confirm that it has two faces, one with sunglasses and one without. And the one without has moving eyes.
Then there’s the cigarette hand with the awesome ring, which shows up on all the right hands. Around his left wrist is a gold bracelet. For hands it looks like he has fists, open left, different grips for left and right, smoking right, and trigger right. For accessories he has a gun, a suitcase with 100 million yen inside, and a loose stack of money.
The seats are sold separately. You can get different colors and styles on Amiami, along with all kinds of other cool 1:12 scale stuff, but that’s for another article.
To top it all off, the packaging becomes a diorama.
It’s stated that some softer materials are used so full range of articulation can be achieved. I’m assuming it’s the crotch and the torso overlay.
And then of course the figure comes with a standard Figma stand.
The initial SRP was around $80, but now that he is up for pre-order at Amiami the price is now $62. Not bad for a Figma and it does have a nice array of pack-ins. Like I said up there, I’m super-excited for this seemingly un-super-exciting figure. That’s what makes it awesome, I think.
