Union Creative: TOYSROCKA! The Dark Knight Batman and Joker

I ran across these The Dark Knight Joker and Batman figures while hunting for import toys on Amiami and while they do freak me out a little, they are awesome at the same time.

If you are a DC fan you have at least one Batman and Joker in your collection. They may be different because of preferences or tastes, but they are one of the best known and loved hero/villain dynamics in all of fandom. And there are a LOT of choices, ranging from time period to artist interpretation. I’m more of a Joker man myself, so I have a whole shelf dedicated to various versions of The Clown Prince of Crime, and while every one doesn’t have the corresponding Batman, I do have quite a few figures of the Dark Knight too. So of course this set caught my eye.

Union Creative’s TOYSROCKA! line uses a deformed type style and this Joker and Batman are no different. Not everyone’s cup of tea, but let’s face it, TDK Bats and Joker have been done in almost every style imaginable at this point, so why not in a 5-inch, articulated, stylized scale with moving eyes, alternate parts, and their rides. Yeah, they both have cars too.

The figures will be out in January, the rides in February, and will cost around $45 each.
